I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mutiara, a seafood restaurant located at Geylang Serai. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and they made sure to check on us frequently throughout the meal. Speaking of the dishes, the selection of seafood was impressive. They had everything from lobster bee Hoon, fried baby squid, coffee chicken, chilli crab, fish maw soup and grilled fish! The grilled fish and chilli crab were absolutely delicious. The quality of the food at Mutiara Seafood was top-notch. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied. The drinks (grapefruit) and desserts (mango sago) were also fantastic! Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Mutiara Seafood. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and the food was some of the best seafood I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great seafood meal. And it is definitely suitable to invite your Muslim business associates / friends over for a proper meal, as it does not serve any pork, lard and alcohol!

Food is fantastic, fresh and delicious. We ordered salted egg lobster, signature chilli crab, supreme fried rice, fried noodles malay style, stir fried broccoli with xo sauce, stir fried baby kailan with garlic. Definitely will come back to Mutiara again. Thank you Shahira, Kanna and Farid for your excellent service. 5 star to great food and service.

Been wanting to dine in here since last time I saw the establishment’s sign was put up way before the Ramadhan. It offers set menu which starts at 4pax. Since, it was only me and mum, gotta give that a pass. We ordered alacarte instead. Starter was the crispy 🦑 It was tasty bunch of crispy goodness rested on a bed of fried noodles. We finished it all! We got the Soup Bening with Fish Maw and chicken. Mum loves this! Ask for black vinegar and pepper to give it more punch! The Seafood Fried Rice Supreme is recommended in the menu. There are generous amount of prawns (de-shelled) and the aroma of the sesame oil was inviting. The Baby Kailan in XO sauce was fresh and umami bomb from the dried shrimp. The grilled talapia (not in pic unfortunately) with spicy sambal had lots of heat and cooked perfectly. Staff was helpful and we were attended to promptly. Will certainly make a return to try other dishes!

We booked a table for iftar there over the weekend and ordered the set menu. Restaurant deco is welcoming with soothing colours and lighting. Food arrived soon after we were seated (but we pre-ordered). Service was attentive and they were quick to take care of our needs for more drinks, change of plates, directions to the toilet etc. Even though the restaurant was very busy as most of the diners were breaking their fast, the staff worked tirelessly through the dinner rush. Food-wise, more hits than misses. The seafood fried rice was tasty with a generous amount of seafood. The cereal prawn was cripsy, savoury, light and fragrant. The chili crabs were fleshy and plump with a flavourful sauce. The broccoli was bright, crunchy and seasoned well. The fish maw soup was chock-full of ingredients and very hearty. The sago pomelo mango dessert was refreshing and a lovely way to end the meal. The mocha chicken was probably the most disappointing dish of the night as we found it too sweet and too heavily breaded. The char kuay and the beef bacon roll dishes both came tossed in salad cream and as a result, came across as quite monotonous. Overall, we felt the dishes could have done with more spicy chili. They could also have provided more napkins or wet tissues instead of antibacterial wet wipes. But it was still a pleasant dinner experience and is a nice place to gather with friends and family for a sumptuous seafood meal.

Recently me and husband visited Mutiara seafood and we really enjoyed our dinner there. The food was tasteful, ambiance was relaxing and the staff were very proactive. Especially Shahira who was very attentive to our needs. We appreciate her product knowledge and warm services. We will definitely be back here again with our family and friends.

Everything was perfect. We had the set for six people and everything tasted great. Even though some dishes took longer than expected, it was worth the wait. A staff even attended my request in providing more rice as the fish dish was only given when we were done with everything. Chilli crab easily won our hearts and is the highlight of the night. Hopefully there will be more halal outlets and restaurants from the jumbo group. Thank you!

We visited Mutiara Seafood on a weekday for dinner. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We were served by Shahira, Sue & Benny. They make us feel welcome and accommodative to our request. The food is delectable and we are very pleased with the overall experience here! Definitely will recommend this place!

Had a wonderful time with my family having dinner over at the newly open Mutiara Seafood. Everything was serve fresh and super delicious. Especially love the crabs and lobster! Each and every dishes that we ordered was just so good. Please try the grapefruit drink if you’re there, it was refreshing & thirst quenching! Would like to give a shout out to Shahirah that help us with our orders. The lobster was not in our list to order but she recommended us and it was definitely the highlight of our dinner. Given that it was a public holiday, the waiting time was not long and Shahirah was always checking if everything was served and if all was okay. we would definitely be back again,thank you Mutiara! 😍

It's very hard to find good quality authentic Chinese food that is Halal. I always save the best dishes for last however I got confused yesterday as all the dishes were really good. Price wise you pay for what you get. They use good quality ingredients and it's worth what you are paying for...would definitely bring my other family members here in the future.

Good experience in Mutiara Seafood Restaurant. We enjoyed the food, the service was good, the dishes were just delicious. Cripsy Fried Baby Squid is a must try. Baby Lamb Shank Grill is flavourful, but it has too much fat. Overall, I will recommend the restaurant for a memorable dining experience with family and friends.

The service was top-notch! All the staff were on the ball, but at first, we were a tad puzzled when the front desk lady asked us to place our order before we even got into the restaurant. So there we were, all huddled around the front desk, playing a guessing game, thinking she might be stalling while they set up our table. But overall, it was a super pleasant lunch experience.

Came here twice, came here the second time because I had a good experience the first time however the service and food seems inconsistent. Perhaps I came on a weekend the second time so they were busier, they even placed us on the second floor outside their shop with a portable fan- was super warm without much wind. We did not even have an option to choose indoor/outdoor, we guessed that they probably overbooked and compensated us with a refresher drink. A lot of food was also sold out on the second trip here, the black pepper crab was also much saltier. Not sure if I’ll be back again, perhaps will just stick to Jumbo.

Place looks good and felt very welcomed by the hostess. After being seated and wanted to put my bag on the floor. Upon closer inspection, there were rice on the floor. Also, we were seated at 17:45 which means we were the first seating for the dinner shift and not a turnover table. Initial menu given were all Ala carte. If you’re looking for set menu, you have to ask. Not sure why they can’t place both Ala carte and set menu together. We go the set menu and also add on Ala carte to go with set menu. A6 set Cumi goreng is pathetic and not even enough for 6 Ayam panggang was delicious and flavourful Tom yum soup was portioned out by the staff :) No pic of the tilapia as the staff didn’t show us. We saw the staff portioning and when he placed it on the table, it was more of removing the meat from the fish which we could have done it. Also the portion was not meant for 6. Chili crab was good and delicious. Definitely one of the star for the set Yam paste / orh nee was a delight. A good closure for the meal Service finesse wise can be improved. It was nice that they want to clear the table before desserts but it has to be when everyone at the table is done and not when a few are still eating. Disclaimer, we were still 45 mins before the “return table” timing. Therefore there’s no need to rush. Also, the dishes didn’t arrive in succession. The chicken dish was the last to arrive. No idea why. Would I be back? 50/50.

Absolutely delicious. The seafood was all top quality and fresh, portions are generous. Highlight was definitely the crabs - the black pepper crab is the best I've ever tried so far. Kangkong belacan was also a surprise highlight. Basically everything was fantastic. The service is also great - friendly, accommodating and attentive servers. Pricey but worth it!

Hi there! My family and i were at your restaurant on 24th of december to celebrate my mothers birthday, the customer service was outstanding, your staff especially Shahirah, Shafiq, and Benny. And we were also impressed with the quality of your dishes and also your complimentary dessert mango sago was incredibly scrumptious! We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and families.

I truly fall in love with this man genius service! His truly service at the heart when it comes to serve the guests. Especially helpful and truly a gem! Their lobster is especially win part and i definitely enjoy every min spent there for my special dec family babies. Thanks sir for your generous service! I didn't get his name, but he's quite aging and very humble man 🫡🫰🏻 I spent nearly $500+ for family of 8pax. Well spent worth every penny.

Had dinner with my family of 7 for my mum’s birthday celebration here and they were having a 30% off promotion for the alaska king crab so we had to try it out. Loved every bit of it. The shells were soft and it was really easy to crack it open, it was really fresh and so meaty! Though a little on the pricey side, but the service and taste of the food makes it all worth it.

The restaurant delivers an impeccable dining experience, seamlessly blending outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and a captivating atmosphere. From the warm hospitality of the staffs (syahirah, syafiq & nicholas) to the exquisite flavours of the dishes is a gastronomic delight. The ambiance adds the perfect touch, creating a memorable and enchanting dining affair. We took their Set Menu and definitely enjoy the food very much! Will come visit again next time :)

Simply one of the best halal fine dining restaraunts I have been to. Gana and Benny were very helpful with the birthday surprise I was planning for my sister. They served us throughout with a warm and happy attitude. Really made our evening. Hope this restaraunt remains like this throughout. Food was pretty good. Recommend the beef and fish for Zhi Char order.

If you are looking for quality food with the standard of the World-Class Jumbo, then this is the right place. A perfect spot for mixed families with halal food preferences. There is no compromise in taste because of halal restrictions and we loved the food here. Naturally, the price wouldn’t be cheap but apart from that, the staff were generally attentive and despite the crowdedness, they catered to most of our needs.

Went for birthday dinner and everything fell right in place. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service by the staff was exceptional. Service representative Kanna was so patient with us, recommended good choices and ensured we were taken care of the entire time we were there. He even gave a complimentary dessert for my birthday! Truly thank you Kanna and team :)

It’s like having Jumbo dishes in halal version, but the food all taste good as well. The chilli in kangkong is so well done, cereal prawn are good as well. Some of the dishes selected are well cooked. The least maybe mee goreng, which expected to be good, but too sweet. Maybe the ketchup. Nice place for a good meal. Service is good, change the plate also mid dinner as well. . Enjoyable place
