Finally!! A McDonald’s at 888 plaza. So glad they built an extension building for it. Nice atmosphere at night too with al fresco dining in front. Had no issues with their service both through Grabfood and in-person. However, food made not as nice as some of the other outlets (eg. Fries not as crispy) but still decent and hot when served. They seem to be moving to an automated system, you will have to make your order at the self checkout kiosks and wait for it at the collection point. Some people still haven’t made their mind at the kiosks so ordering normally will take sometime while they scroll through the whole menu.

Firstly, it was lunch time and I ordered takeaway 3 apple pies. I saw people coming and going, and my queue number was forgotten along the way. I told the worker and she helped to ask the kitchen for my order. Then I only received 2 apple pies, had to ask for the third one. My goodness, please teach your staff to at least know how to read the receipt. I don't mind waiting but it is unreasonable for someone who ordered 3 apple pies to wait longer than someone who ordered complete meals for a , I was happy a McDonald's opened near home, but now, I'm having second thoughts on this as this is not my first time having to wait for a very long while, for 3 apple pies, 20 mins is a long wait.

Wish I could give it zero stars honestly! I visited this outlet about 5 times and EVERYTIME, the service was slow, staff always appear unsure of anything. Isn't mcdonald a fast food restaurant? Why do I have to wait AT LEAST 30min for a fried chicken or even a burger everytime? Not to mention, even ice cream alone need to wait 15min. Nonsense. Ordered frappe but always got melted chocolate because of how slow the food service was. Gave it the benefit of the doubt that it's a new outlet but service just doesn't seems to get ANY BETTER. I hope the management really look into the people you hire and the system the outlet is having. Only the elderly auntie at the counter seems to be working properly (props to her!). WILL NEVER revisit this outlet and would rather walk further to Causeway point to get QUALITY food with a shorter waiting time.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Ever since the opening of this branch at 888 Plaza, the waiting time off peak is always min. 30mins. When it comes to peak hour (lunch/dinner) expect 1 hour wait time minimum, even for a cone of ice cream. Not sure what else needs to be said except I feel sorry for the auntie that has to serve food, manage the customers and the special needs staff. I really hope the Management of Mcdonalds look into this particular branch.

i love McDonalds as it is deeply rooted with my memories growing up but today has been quite an experience ah. i ordered at 18:37 and received at 19:07, for a single drink. I didn’t mind the wait as there were many other patrons so it was understandable but the thing that caught me off guard was when i was ignored and i was just talking to the palm of a hand. This happened around the twenty minute mark when i had just enquiring about my order. So i spent another 10 mins just to get their attention to no avail. The once crowded waiting area is now nearly empty and i finally was given attention and got my drink after a little bit more waiting. I truly understand that working f&b is exhausting and after all we are only human. Criticism should not be demeaning but the current Singapore culture demands you to destroy the reputation of a company if it doesn’t meet up to your entitled expectations. We all deserve a break. I wish you well. -a happy dude sipping on a caramel frappe

Few days ago I brought my family to have Ice Cream at Mcd 888. They gave ice melted ice cream I can’t even eat everything was dripping on our hands. Today I bought breakfast takeaway and the bag was full of hotcake syrup. And it’s not even a leak. So bad service.

Oct'23 - pretty standard McD. Dec'23 - feel the service standard has dropped. Their sincerity/ love no longer there. Example: for take away, drink is not placed securely in the bag, once you carry it, the cup went slanted,drink spill. Or request for chilli, they will grab a bunch and "slam dunk" into the bag.

Hi Team Order num : 2563 , 11/12/2023 Can see my FRIES , how less ?? Somore cold fries !! I think definitely it’s keep so long time ‘ It’s not my 1st , always like this ; sometimes missing my food also !! Actually I do want to post here , but it’s make me so upset !! Mar'24 - ermmm. Requested for 1 medium and 1 large Coke zero with no ice for our meal. It came a large ice lemon tea without ice and 1 medium coke zero with ice. A macdonald’s experience I have never experienced like any other macdonalds ever TWICE! 1st April - I was running late for work and it was the fasting month . I had to rush out of the house and grab something that could be made fast to bring to work for my break-fast . Macdonald’s was my choice . Wanted to go admiralty outlet but I knew it was gonna be busy there . Thinking my previous experience was a mere accident, I thought I’d give 888 plaza macdonalds another chance . Went there, ordered up, and when I come inside, I knew I had regretted it . More than 15 customers standing and sitting infront of the collection counter . Went and stood up near the cash payment only counter to take a peep inside the kitchen and it was apparent what the problem was … Rows of unfinished burger on the counter top . I don’t know where to begin with . Low man power, mostly elderly (who even ask the customers to check the order themselves because they might put or forgotten an item or 2 inside ) no managers in sight, food everywhere unattended , rows of people waiting for their hungry food . It was an utter mess. I know this outlet takes disabled people as I’ve seen it before . I totally understand and I feel it’s a good thing . But too many elderly without a strong backbone won’t run this place like a fast food should be . Im not saying to stay away from this macdonalds outlet, but if you’re scared that you’ll be late, go to another outlet nearest to it. 1st experience was exactly the same as the 2nd time but even WORSE . It happened just about a month ago. Short manpower, unfinished burgers on the counter top, . I wasn’t late for work with about 40 mins to spare . But this outlet choked and I was 20 mins late to work. Yeap, you do the math. Fast food restaurant but I received my food an hour late . Some people inside even started shouting “ give me refund give me refund !” And some people even started shouting at the staff asking where their food was . It was a massacre. To the manager at that time who was wearing a hijab, you got all my respect toning down the fire of customers and flurries of refunds . Even I myself thought I wanted them to cancel my order and if it was made, just give it to some kid or a family that has a kid or maybe the elderly. I am writing writing while waiting for my food and being late for working thinking what my boss would say if I told him the same excuse just a month ago . Please do something to this macdonalds. It’s new and it’s a nice macdonalds I should say. But I never ever wanted to wait for an hour for my burgers no more .
