Trying Indonesian food for the first time. Tried the Nasi Berek and Indonesian spring rolls (i think there is a regional difference). Both were wonderfully tasty and good portion size. Friendly customer service. Will try the rendang next time - definitely worth visiting if local!

We went today to the Madura Kitchen for my brothers birthday and it was all delicious, the satay, rendang, telor belado and many more were all really authentic. The drinks and dessert- it is all wonderful !The keropok and the kue also really authentic and all homemade. The staff are also super friendly all Indonesian and have time to chat and make you feel really welcome. It was my third time visiting and will be back very soon!

First time visit, the menu is interesting and highlights items that are most ordered😃 We went with the duck and against the waiters advice and ordered the slow cooked beef sinews. For a starter we ordered the chicken wings. The duck was ok, rate at 3.5, on the dry side. The chilli sauce is very spicy, great but lacks flavour The beef sinew was good, rate at 4, if u like trotters or for that matter oysters, u will like the texture of slow cooked sinews. The soup was very tasty and thick. The chicken wings looked great, tasted ok. Rate at 3.5 Got carried away and ordered the beef rendang, good but uderlying sweet tasting, so rate at 4. Large portion of rice, I am not a fan of cold rice, supposedly jasmine rice, rate at 2.5. The Indonesian coffee is interesting, served up almost like turkish coffee but a large portion, does not taste like coffee u would find in any coffee outlet, very different flavour. The madura mix drink was also ok at £5.50 a pop. Overall would rate at 4.0 out of 5. Service is good, needs improving See photo of bill for the four mains and other items ordered. Would I revisit, hmmm

The dishes we ordered were absolutely authentic and delicious! My hubby said the nasi bebek was even better than what he had in Indonesia. The es teler was not quite what i expected (it’s usually served with shaved ice) but it was still pretty good. Totally worth the long journey. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes inshaAllah! *note: there’s a small space near the entrance to put a buggy. It would be nice if there was a high chair available for babies.

As soon as we came in, the chefs immediately turned on their stoves and started cooking everything from scratch. Everything was so full of flavour even their drinks. Tempe Mendoan was fried to perfection and incredibly more-ish. Their Chicken Satay was very peanut-y and to die for. We got their Nasi Bebek and Rendang for mains and their Nasi Bebek (Duck Rice) is the best duck I’ve ever had in my life - just fell of the bone. The beef cubes in the Rendang were incredibly tender as well. The servers were incredibly kind and made me feel like I was back home. Highly recommend heading down here for a taste of Indonesia.
