Food was really outstanding. Had it last week Thursday lunch. Standouts include mango fish curry, which truly hit your senses, and fish cutlets....don't think you can find these better in little india. Fish briyani normal type was equally outstanding as was the fish in it- as if they had just caught it from the tank haha. At the end there was this coconut based dessert that was a total blowout - way better than Mr Cocount drinks trust me- no sugar just pure coconut puree kinda thing. Also, friend asked us to try their thosai n prata (not my carb heavy kinda thing) was possibly the best I had in my life. Mutton dish was very good too but salty. There was payam or payal dessert was awesome too but a bit heavy on sugar. Chicken curry was good but had better. Unfortunately I was Disappointed with the mutton seara briyani little meat n a lot of bones n awful rice. Its not your normal kinda briyani n I didn't like it. Hope you're not offended. But what could be improved was meat portion size. 176 for 4 pax ok but more meat please? No pics as food was too good. Nice.

Had a really enjoyable experience dining here. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented you could really taste the richness of the spices and freshness of the ingredients in every dish. The curries were rich and aromatic, and the portions were generous as well. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food, good ambience, and excellent hospitality. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone craving quality Indian cuisine, and I’ll surely be coming back again.

After a week that made me contemplate a career as a professional stress ball, I decided to head to Machan's Kitchen for a much-needed pick-me-up. I ordered the rice, crab soup, and baby corn fritters, and let me tell you, it felt like a delicious hug for my soul! The food was good, I almost forgot about my worries. If you're feeling stressed, this place is the culinary therapy you never knew you needed. Highly recommend!

We finally went to have a meal at Machan’s Kitchen, Race Course d at Little India. Everything we ordered was spot on. Mmmmmm very delicious and super authentic. I can’t wait to return with my family and friends. Indian have a saying that the food we eat is medicine that nourishes the body (உணவே மருந்து). The food here is true testament to this fact. We ordered the satisfying banana stem soup. Followed by fish dumplings biryani, drumstick curry / moringa curry, and masala chicken from a certain district in Tamil Nadu … sorry i forgot coz i can only remember how delicious everything was. The ambience of the restaurant is bright, airy and clean. Modern art deco b/w images adorn the walls. Handwashing basins were clean and had soap dispensers. Paper towels to wipe hands after washing. Staff are attentive, warm and friendly. When you are in Little India Singapore, please come to have fuss free authentic South Indian food without having to fly to South India ;) Thank you to everyone at Machan’s Kitchen :)

I highly recommend trying the Mutton Dum barayani, which pairs perfectly with a refreshing glass of Lime Juice after the meal. The staff were helpful and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable lunch experience.
