Came across this new stall at Wisma. Surprisingly, there’s not a little hint of freshly baked coffee bun aroma at all. The bun is cold and there isn’t much taste of coffee. The saving grace is that it’s moist and soft inside.

Just visited this place today as friends recommended it to me. $1.80 coffee bun certainly does taste good coming out from the oven... Combination of crispy outer shell and the salty butter inside was good. However, I thought it lacked the strong coffee flavour and aroma which I like. In comparison, Four Leaves mini coffee buns have a much stronger and more intense coffee flavour. Roti Mum coffee buns are superior in terms of having the crunchy/crispy outer shell and also being served right out of the oven. However, Four Leaves wins for me since I think the coffee flavour is more important.

Used to have different name, but perhaps due to franchising feud and whatnot the stall is called what it is now. Serves variety of freshly baked flavored breads that has somewhat crispy crust on the outside and butter on the inside. I would suggest sticking to the original butter and coffee buns.

If you’re looking for a good tasting coffee bun, stay away from here. Attracted by the aroma, we bought 6 buns at $10 (U.P. $2 each) - coffee, salted egg, chocolate. Coffee bun was horrible. Very bland and dry, crust wasn’t crispy but just thick and crumbly, butter was pathetically little. Worst part was the coffee tasted a little off. All of us who initially wanted to buy home a few more, all decided not to in the end. Chocolate bun had that unpleasant chocolately taste and again the crust was not crispy nor was the inside buttery. Best out of all was salted egg, which had a nice crispy crust and best overall taste compared to the rest although it kinda still lacked the salted egg taste.

The coffee smell drew me here but i bought the green favour (pandan). Awesome but can be stronger. Update 17 Nov tried original coffee bun was good and crispy.
