Great experience having Javanese style bakmie Great little hidden gem which is definitely worth while for a visit. During weekdays, the small little place will be great for quick lunch although finding a space to seat maybe a problem. Take note of the split shift hours where they close for a short break after lunch & reopens for dinner Love the ayam geprek with choice of sambal merah or cabe ijo ( green chillies) All the beef items are worth a try as well

Came here for dinner with some friends and was so satisfied! The food was FANTASTIC - good size portions and their sambal was simply divine. The couple running the shop were incredibly warm and hospitable and we felt very welcomed visiting this shop. Love the interior of the shop, great atmosphere even when the shop was pretty busy. Fully recommend to anyone craving noodles in the area, all round great experience :)

Nicest auntie running the restaurant! Comes and check on you and make sure everything is ok and you’re enjoying the meal. Food takes a little while to come but that’s because everything is freshly prepared and everything from the fried chicken to the fried beef balls and hot when served. The noodles with everything in is great. The meat sauce they put on it gives the whole dish a different taste.

Tasty and authentic bakmi dish. A lot of variant of bakmi to choose from. Place is cozy and clean. Few parking lot right in front of the eatery, but have a specific timing restrictions.

If I had to describe this place in one word: Homely Checked this place out after searching for food in the area and I was transported back to my Indonesia trip I had a few years back. It’s hard to describe home cooked food, especially one that comes from a restaurant but I’ll try my best. No frills, tasty, simple, to the point. If you want to have authentic, home cooked style with taste Bakmi in SG. This is the place to be!

Had wanted to try this place for quite some time so today I finally made a trip over. Got the bakmi komplit (=minced meat noodles complete) along with tempeh goreng mendoan. There was a nice serai (lemongrass) aroma that cut through the saltiness and oiliness in the noodles that made it all the more tasty. I really enjoyed it. I think this place should be quite authentic as there were many Indonesian customers when I was dining there.

The bakmi is a very simple bowl but the balance of flavour in the sauce is extremely well done -- it's a delicious mix of sweet, salty and savoury. Will come back again :)

Nice bakmi. Bakmi is a Chinese word that literally means "meat noodle." It refers to a kind of egg noodle introduced into south-east Asia by the Chinese. Today it is most commonly used as part of the name of any of a number of Indonesian dishes made with those noodles. In addition to the noodles, Indonesian bakmi recipes usually include meat, often chicken, and a variety of vegetables.

Super delicious bak mie. The noodles are firm but bouncy and really flavourful because they soak up all the soy sauce and good stuff.. the bak mie komplit was just enough for a hungry gworl. Aunty and uncle that run the place are so warm and accommodating too.

a friend recommended this place and im so glad i visited !! Ordered the bakmi spesial and really loved the balance of sweet and savory in the sauce - the sweet soy sauce chicken was also very tender and juicy. I also got the bakwan sayur (vege fritters) bc aunty said it was freshly fried HAHA and it was rly good too !! overall a very homely delicious meal :”) also the atmosphere was so cute it’s a quaint little hole in the wall type place along bali lane haha walked past it so many times but never entered 🥹 pls visit !!

Halal establishment but I think that would be the only key point why ppl come here. I have no idea why people praise for this place. Noodle was mediocre, as I can see I didn't finished it due to it was too salty for me. I had better in my hometown obvi. Service was awful, the lady was not nice. Place was not comfortable to eat outside. Ceiling fan was blowing too strong. I would not be coming back.

came when it wasn’t busy. cashier stuff, the uncle, bad service. was eating and he came and told me that he needs the chair that i was seating on. there was clearly the same EMPTY chair beside me that he could take but NO. he still want the one im seating on. so much more to say but im keeping it in. from enjoying the food till my mood gone. disbelief. that aside, food was okay. can feel it was made w care and passion. went to collect the food when my buzzer went off. they thanked loudly and look at the box , got smiley face :) kitchen crew deserve a raise cause they be running the show!

I ordered the bak mi and it was delicious! To me, the noodles had a perfect texture as it was a bit chewy !! Highly recommend getting the noodles over the rice tho. The staffs were approachable and friendly! However, they do not have a reservation system and the seating is quite limited :-(

She said she was from Java. I ordered chicken rice and sambal cabe hijau. I dont expect the chicken would serve in “no bones” at all😂 it taste good but “not that good” idk how to describe it. Like im missing something that will make it tasty, gonna sy it in Bahasa: kurang medok rasanya. I went there on Monday but it closed so i went there another day and tried lunch dine in. Theres No parking area and its fine. The cafe is quite small but u can still enjoy the food. They provides drinks in “bottle” like fruitty, teh botol, bottled water. Once the food is ready to serve, the pager will make a sound and you take the food yourself from the cashier area to your desk. Payment first at the cashier after you ordered. Theres one toilet too. Its near to Hj Lane. Yall can see the pictures i updated here

Best food I had in one week singapore. Very very welcoming owners and soooo tasty. Please stop by and enjoy the familiarity and the food. The owner also offered us free soup which was super delicious.
