This was my first meal in Medan after arriving at my hotel late in the evening. Venturing outside my hotel after 1am I was starving and not expecting any restaurant to be open. This KFC became my hero as it's open 24h. Not surprisingly it wasn't exactly busy. I was greeted by such a friendly and helpful server. Wanting to try something authentically 'Indonesian style' I opted for their five piece cheesy chicken (I was hungry!), fries and Coke. It's a large store, so I had a choice of seating options (inside and out). I chose inside to escape the mozzies. When my food was prepared the kind and professional server brought my food to my table. Wgat can I say? The cheesy chicken was outstanding—each piece was large! Piping hot and fresh, a really generous portion of dripping cheese was spread over each chicken piece. It was literally cheese heaven. Each mouthful was delicious and juicy. Yum yum yum! The fries were decent too. I felt so relaxed here eating my gluttonous meal in the wee early hours. The staff were simply lovely. And the restaurant was spotless. Very very highly recommended:-)

The staff are wonderful, I love Indonesian people! They make me feel so welcome, which is important for me visiting from England. The food's very inconsistent. I get chicken pieces, on Saturday there was lots of meat but yesterday very little. It was horrible. Doubt it's the staffs fault as they have to use what's available to them. The standard generally is worse than western KFC's. Which is a shame as people are struggling here in comparison. They deserve good standards for their very hard-earned money. Weekends this store is packed and loud, very uncomfortable if you like peace.

Food: - All is good! - Except the soda, it tastes abit flat. - And if you need tomato sauce, just ask the staff from the counter. Place: - There are 2 floors and indoor & outdoor area on both of the floors. - They have cafe which selling coffee and tea too. - There is a live band on the first floor during my visit on the weekend.
