Enjoyed having my porridge breakfast regularly. However, disappointed that they took advantage of the situation and increased their prices across the board. I used to add egg in my porridge, now it is $0.80 for each small hardboiled egg. HDB, the landlord, did not raise the rent. But, they increased prices to "thank" all the regular customers. Shall find alternative to show that we mind their greediness.

The wooden stick they use for the fried item, i think they reuse it for the next day frying. Because whenever i buy they always take it off from the fish balls. Until i realized it today that they put it on a container which has so many sticks on it. If this is true that they reuse it, so unhygienic. Perhaps need to relook at their hygiene grade.

Ok, their attitude is not the best. But overlooking it, the white beehoon is quite flavorful and moist. IMHO.

Very rude Malay cashier. Today morning in TPY Kakak Cafe around 9.30am i bought a plate of beehoon which the cashier charged me $3. I didn't know she is Malay as she is wearing a mask and spec with her hair dyed, so I told her in mandrain to give more chilli but she just ignore me and never reply me anything and pass me the dish without giving me more chilli. When I realised she is Malay I told her in English "more chilli" then she take back the plate n put more chilli. If you don't understand what I m talking about don't you think you should open your mouth and ask me to repeat my sentence again? This is basic manner even if you are not a cashier. She did not pass me any chopstick so I am puzzled how to eat without fork or spoon or chopstick, usually the cashier will pass me the chopstick with the dish together, when she saw me looking for chopstick she responded by tapping on the chopstick at the side of the counter and replied with an unhappy voice "Here Here Here". What kind of attitute is this? You did not pass me any chopstick and you want to show me attitute, should I be the one who was unhappy when you did not pass me the chopstick? Is it very difficult to just give me a chopstick when you pass me the dish? Lastly, I bought exactly the same beehoon added the same dishes last week and was charged $2.80. Now just 1 week later it is $3. Why the difference in price? I always bought things from this store but with such kind of attitute and the price discrepancies I don't think I will visit this store anymore. Anyway your food are average and not fantastic. Why should I give you all business and earn my money when you give me bad attitute?
