Poor customer service from the cashier. He was rude, impatient, and didn’t seem interested in helping customers and help me feel unwelcome.A simple smile and polite attitude would have made a big difference. I hope the service improves.

Customer service like shit I purchased a lamb chop meal and politely asked the staff member whether it was possible to add fries to my order. Instead of providing a clear response, he mumbled something and pointed at the menu. As I could not understand what he was saying and did not wish to create a scene, I responded, “It’s okay, no need to add already.” Immediately after that, the staff member clearly said “walan eh” and continued muttering additional remarks. Regardless of whether he believed I could hear him, such behaviour is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I do not believe there is anything unreasonable about asking whether fries can be added to a meal. A simple and polite explanation would have been sufficient. What is particularly concerning is that this is not an isolated incident. On a previous visit during the lunch period, I attempted to purchase only fries. The same stall staff responded in Chinese, “没有，这么多order都做不完，还要做你fries.” The issue was not that my request could not be accommodated; the issue was the rude, dismissive and arrogant manner in which I was spoken to. If I had been politely informed that the stall was too busy to fulfil the order, I would have accepted the explanation without issue.

Ordered the sirloin steak and aglio olio set at $10.80. Came with black pepper steak which was pretty spicy. The 2 pieces of steak was sliced thin. It would have been better if they didn't slice and serve a smaller piece but thicker steak. Aglio olio was well seasoned. Service staff was just doing his job taking orders and collecting cash.

The foods were rather simple and can easily find at other western stalls in the east. It may looks like a big portion but you will be hungry after eating. Personally, I find the sauces acceptable that it did not overflow and mixed into other sauces in the same plate. It uses buzzer to call for you to pick up your order so at my point of writing, there is no shouting across the hawker (based on another review). It is located in a air-conditioning hawker in Giant Hypermarket so it has other stalls sharing the same area. The tables are rather clean when I went.

If you’re looking for a place that teaches patience, humility, and how low the bar for service can go, congratulations, you’ve found it. The cashier’s attitude was a masterclass in “I don’t want to be here and I’d prefer if you weren’t either.” Very immersive. Truly felt like an unwanted guest in a museum of bad manners. Now, the food. Bold. Brave. Experimental. The mushroom soup tasted like someone accidentally dropped flour into hot water and decided to commit to the mistake. The fries were… present. That’s the nicest thing I can say. Texture-wise, they existed. Flavor-wise, they were on a long vacation. I asked to change the salad to fries. Not allowed, which is fine, rules are rules. But then I was served cabbage strips and told this was a salad. Incredible. Minimalism has reached new heights. Somewhere, a chef is crying, and somewhere else, a cabbage is confused about its life choices. Overall, amazing if your goal is to lose your appetite and your faith in customer service at the same time. Save your money, save your mood, and eat literally anywhere else.
