A very filling meal! It's very reasonable for its price. And the chicken is very flavourful and the hanjuku egg is very well marinated. It's not your usual Nasi Lemak but honestly I was so surprised by how good it tastes anyways. There are coconut crumbs in the rice which is very nice. I recommend trying it!

I have been searching for a great Nasi Lemak and Husk Nasi Lemak is delicious. Their Ikan Billis is one of the most crispiest I ever had! The fried chicken is really fresh and crispy! Their Nasi lemak flavour profile feels unique with their own twist and style. It is very different from the usual Nasi Lemak that I have. They provide Onsen egg instead of regular sunny side up eggs. However today when I ate their Nasi Lemak, the flavour of the coconut rice is not as fragrant as I expected. It took me awhile to identify the coconut fragrance in the Nasi Lemak. My friend who has been there recommended me here today. He suggested that the standard for today slightly drop, maybe is a missed of ingredients? He tell me that I should come again and give it a try again as he said the first time he ate, the rice was one of the best he ever had. Just purely based on the experience I had today, I have to rate a 4 star. However I still recommend this outlet to those who wants to enjoy a more elegant Nasi Lemak.

Hidden inside Bugis Cube, above all the steamboat restaurants lies a small stall selling the fragrant coconut rice. The chicken cutlet was fried in a thick and crispy batter while the rendang was sous vide to fork tender. Sadly the spices were not powerful enough and the onsen egg was overcooked. I've heard high praises but this was not up to it

A very interesting plate of Nasi Lemak. This isn’t quite like the usual Nasi Lemak you get anywhere else. It’s very clear that great attention to detail was given to each and every element of the dish. And frankly, that’s what you’re paying for. Food is prepared a la minute, so it does take a little time to arrive at your table. But when it does, everything, especially the protein, is freshly prepared and it tells! Rice is fluffy and very fragrant. It’s far more complex than any other Nasi Lemak rice I’ve had. This is elevated by the crumbs from fried stuff which lends fatty flavour and crunch. During my visit, the crumbs were a little stale and a tad less crunchy than what I had expected. The sambal is of a thicker consistency and coats everything well. It’s well balanced but lack a punch. That said, its flavour makes everything taste better. The protein of choice was the classic chicken cutlet. It’s well marinated and the sweetness of the chicken comes through really well - it’s the familiar taste of Chinese style fried chicken that hits the nostalgia button. Over time, however, it can get a little cloy due to the oil that’s trapped in the batter - can be better. Onsen egg was definitely seasoned and tad too runny for me - another 20-30 seconds would have been perfect for me. My partner enjoyed the level of runniness though. Achar was average. The peanuts and ikan bilis were crispy. I think this is worth a visit. It’s a great experience getting to try different ways of perfecting a dish that is common yet well loved in the region.

Good nasi lemak! I love the combination of the Japanese egg which goes super yummy together. Tender chicken, this place is a hidden gem 👍🏻 would love to come back and try more dishes some day!

came across this nasi lemak on google while searching for food at bugis. they are 4.7/5 with 173 reviews, tho not many reviews but still quite amazing to have 4.7 from close to 200 of reviewers. vaguely also rmb seeing it on @alieats_22 youtube channel so decided to just do it! tried the: 1) wholesome lemak drumstick set $12.50 - super huge chicken drumstick with delicious lemak gravy! the gravy blends in the chicken nicely, making it very flavourful and the meat was really tender. 2) fish and chicks set $12.20- the fried chicken was really hot, crispy and v tender. fried tilapia fish w assam pedas sauce was really great too, tho the sauce was alil spicy for me. both nasi lemak were served with a marinated ramen-like egg, some crispy crust on the nasi, ikan bilis, peanuts, achar and sambal chilli. the combinations were good and everything is v nice (except for achar as I don’t eat). price is on the steep side but i think it is def worth every dollar. visited ard 1.30pm on sun, there’re seats available. there re only around 7 x 4 seats available so if ure afraid there’s queue u can also make a reservation found on google (i think via oddle)

Tried: Signature Chicken Cutlet Set and Grilled Chicken Set Comments: A halal nasi lemak eatery hidden inside the quiet Bugis Cube that offers a variety of nasi lemak sets. Overall, the rice is fragrant and packed with coconut flavours. However, it is slightly dry in my opinion but nevertheless a solid plate of nasi lemak. The flavoured egg provided in each nasi lemak set tastes good on its own, but does not seem to be compatible with the nasi lemak. A good old sunny side up still pairs better with the rice in my opinion. The chicken cutlet is very well made, the skin is crispy, the meat is well marinated as well as being tender and juicy. The sambal chilli is a bit spicy for me, so I think it is not so friendly to people who cannot handle spice well. The grilled chicken is tender and well marinated but just slightly dry. If it can retain more moisture it would have been as good as the chicken cutlet. Taste: 4/5 Value for Money: 4/5 Definitely would come back to try other sets! Hole in the wall type of joint selling one of the best Nasi Lemaks in Singapore. Storefront looks simple, but fret not for the food is pretty amazing. Chicken cutlet set (boneless) is crispy and packed with lots of flavour, coconut rice is just the right amount of lemak, sambal chilli is a lovely blend of sweet and spicy and the ajitama egg + crispy flakes are a nice twist to the entire meal. Lemak drumstick is just as good, and perhaps more suited for the big eaters who love to dig out every last ounce of meat from the bone. Will be back.

The Lemak Drumstick set is so good but is oversized and hence overpriced. You can order 1 set with two portions of rice and still wouldn't find the ingredients lacking. Everything on the plate were well executed, eventhough I probably prefer sunny-side-up with Nasi Lemak but I still enjoyed the tamago here. The eatery is small so there are usually queues during peak hours but on a Sunday lunchtime, it's as empty as it gets.

Not cheap for Nasi Lemak, but you do get what you pay for. This is quality stuff. I would say this is the best Nasi Lemak I’ve had in Singapore! My wife ordered the no.1 signature chicken cutlet nasi lemak ($9.80) with an extra chicken cutlet ($4.50). The rice was flavourful and had a nice texture, the condiments was lovely, the egg was superbly cooked and marinated, and the chicken was super crispy on the outside, nicely flavoured and lovely and juicy on the inside. Normally I’m big on chilli, but each element had so much flavour already I left out most of the chilli! The only negative I would give is not to do with the Nasi Lemak, but of the lack of drink selection. Although super tasty, the Nasi Lemak was dry, and I desperately wanted a nice drink to wash it down with, but only coke and water was available and we didn’t fancy either. But the food though, was faultless. Perfect for a treat every once in a while!

Experience some of Singapore's finest Nasi Lemak. If you're in the vicinity, it's an unmissable treat. Instead of the usual sunny side up or omelette, they surprise with a unique twist on flavored eggs. The chicken cutlet is a masterpiece - with its skin crisped to perfection, and meat that's both tender and bursting with well-infused flavors. And for those with a penchant for heat, the sambal chilli delivers just the right kick. Every bite is a testament to the passion and dedication of the chef and the team behind it. Hats off to them!

Ordered the Wholesome Lemak Drumstick Set ($12.50), Sous Vide Beef Rendang Set ($14.80) and Bergedil ($1.20 each). Portion is really generous, we were stuffed by the time we finished our meal. The rice has a subtle lemak taste, chilli is on the spicier and sweeter side. I love how they gave the fried crisps on the rice which added texture to the dish. Achar was good and flavourful, and I love how the egg is the Japanese Ajitama (flavour is subtle). The beef rendang was so soft and the gravy was so flavourful, I love it so much! The Lemak chicken was also good. Bergedil is whatever you expect it to taste 😂 Will patronise again if in the vicinity!

Ordered delivery for a team lunch and we were just floored by how good everything tasted. The lemak was rich and fragrant, the beef rendang was soft and umami, the onsen eggs were gooey and firm, the bergedil was done just right, and the fried bits added that perfect texture to the rice.

Located on the 3rd floor of Bugis Cube, this spot is a bustling hub, especially during peak and lunch hours. Arriving early to secure your seat is a must. The process is straightforward: chop your seat, join the queue, order and pay, then await your meal. The Nasi Lemak is incredibly fragrant, with tender and flavorful chicken. The egg and crispiness add to the delight. Despite being alone, the dedicated staff ensures excellent service. A top-notch dining experience – highly recommended!

The rice is fully cooked and soft as they are not using basmatic rice. The chicken is nicely fried. The egg is fully cooked, which is a minus, too hard and dry on inside. The achar is a big miss, not good. The chili is spicy, please be careful.

Definitely a nasi lemah stall that is worth going. Well seasoned chicken, nice sauce, nice achar, special soft boil egg, perfect ikan bilis and peanut and of course the fragrance rice. Combined all will become a heavenly meal. The shop owner actually recommends the lemak chicken drumsticks as it tooks 3 days to cook it. Would definitely go again for their other menu.

Caution for all people on diet, Keep out! The food is so delicious, you wouldn't be able to resist! The chicken is really tender, the nasi lemak is well seasoned. The sambal chilli has a unique lemongrass fresh after taste.
