First time here. All food we ordered exceeds our expectation. Especially the butter prawns and chili crab. But chili crab is slightly too spicy. Super large sized crabs. Very meaty. The meat is full and intact. Expensive but worth it. Will surely come again next time.

Wanted to try shell out and was suggested to try Home of Seafood. Ordered shell in a bag. Given a choice of sambal sauce or garden herb. Highly recommend garden herb. Mixture of crayfish, mussels, prawn, potatoes and corn. Delicious. Will be coming back for more!

The taste the seafood dishes in this restaurant is quite fair and meet the general expectation in Singapore. The price of the seafood here also not too high, the Sli Lanka crabs cost 72/kg but currently the price of set menu is also reasonable. Among all the dishes we ordered and tasted today, we like coffee chicken the most, the cold desserts are also not bad The staff usually respond us quite fast and keep their smile on the face, so generally, recommended.

Was looking forward to good food when coming back here after so long, I guess cooks and service crew have changed. Food and service were very disappointing. Service crew did not even know the selection for soups when asked. Very salty food and fish does not taste fresh (maybe cater to a particular type of palate or crowd). Will not come anymore.

Black pepper crab only has black and no pepper flavor, I think the dark soy sauce is too much . sushi is really good

We ordered Black Pepper Crab, Stir fry butter prawns, beef fried rice and sambal Kangkong. First dish that was served was the beef fried rice…we were confused as to why the fried rice look like this as it was the soy/dark version when we expected the white version of beef fried rice as per shown on the menu. It tasted average, a little bland, no wok hey taste. Butter prawn and sambal kangkong was ok too. The most disappointing dish that was served was the BLACK PEPPER CRAB!!! It was so disappointing to know that a seafood restaurant couldn’t make good black pepper crab. When the dish was served, it was covered in black sauce and barely tasted any black pepper. We asked the server if this is soy sauce crab cos it literally looked like the crab was swimming in black soy sauce and a little of black pepper. They sent it back to the kitchen and we had to wait for 30mins for them to fix the crab (by this time, we’ve finished our food and we were ready to leave) and when the crab came back to our table, the dish was COLD. It felt as if the dish was left for too long to be served. The crab tasted better but tbh, it was as if they just added more black pepper and remove/thicken some of the sauce. We spent a total of $211 for a disappointing dinner here and unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll visit this place again or recommend to anyone else.

Not as appealing as other famous Seafood restaurants but the food was pretty good! Generous in portion and still delicious! Just ambience seems sad and deserted!

We came here to celebrate a birthday! I feel you can get better halal seafood elsewhere bt the service here is just impeccable! For 10 pax, it’s about 51 per person inclusive of gst. And we were stuffed! It was so good. Highly recommend this place for huge family lunch.

Probably the last outlet in Singapore. Many other outlets have closed down over the years. It wasn't crowded at all in the small restaurant space on a Sunday night. Food was pretty good overall. The dessert, Oni, had a lot of coconut milk, more than the yam. The place is air-conditioned but small for a standalone restaurant.

First time here for a family dinner. The set menu prices are very reasonable. I ordered a set for 8 pax and 3 additional dishes and my family of 12 pax ended up packing some of the food home because the portions were really generous and we couldn’t finish. The staff were also kind enough to serve all of us dessert even though the dessert that comes with the set was only for 8 pax. Also received some vouchers for our next visit :)

Food is amazing especially black pepper crabs and Gingko - Taro sweet soup, staff is very professional. One thing I wonder that why this great restaurant wasn’t busy at rushing hours. Highly recommend it and will be back next visiting Singapore.

We have ordered the shellout. The gravy was good. But the seafood used were lousy and not fresh at all!! What happen to the quality of the ingredients?? Why charge your food at a premium price when you are using a sub standard ingredients? Disappointed and cheated! Please look at the image of the seafood

Found this restaurants when we explore Peranakan area. Located in a strategic area, you can't miss this halal seafood restaurant. Since we only have limited time, we only order sushi. Tastes good and fresh.

To be honest was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant the honey garlic chicken was probably the best I've ever had the other options also very tasty the wait staff friendly and welcoming the decor could be improved a little but the food wow 👌 will be my go to place for Chinese sushi and seafood but also be warned the meal portions are huge 😋 😊 9/10...

We ordered honey chicken, fried fish, Tom yum soup, Nasi sambal goreng, sushi, cereal prawns, squid, chill crab and buns and few other food. All were yummy.. My friend and her family are very happy.. Highly recommended..

Planned and dined in for CNY reunion dinner, food was served in a mess and also not in sequence. Served mantou that is not even hot and crispy to begin with. Chilli crab tasted like tomato ketchup mix with chillies. On top of that, rice was only served midway after the side dishes was served. First time ever I dined in a restaurant that served vegetable side dish the last. Received sambal kangkong at the end when we were almost done with our food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone except casual eating only. Not returning to this place anymore. Given a choice I’d give no stars at all if possible

Bad bad service with medicore food. Staff could hardly understand English. We were seated at 6.50pm. Food only started to be served on 7.30 pm (Vegetables and omelette only). Fish was served after waiting 10+ min after 7.30pm. Chicken was then served after another 10+ minutes. Their signature crab was served at around 8.05pm 😡😡😡. Imagine waiting for more than an hour for the signature dish. Guess what, I'm still waiting for my Hotplate Bean curd at 8.23pm as per writing this review. Would definitely not come again. The only positive opinion is their inari sushi is good. Tempura prawn was quite small.

Ordered two crabs at grab around 18:20, app show order is ready for collection at 18:37. Come down to collect at 18:45, staff check and tell me to wait. Wait until 18:55 and ask staff again. Staff told me to wait, not readyZ wait again until 19:05, staff said not ready, kichten is busy and at least 30mins. Ask me to cancel if I dont want to wait. What i can do? Guests are waiting at home and too late to order other seafoods. I has to go home and come back in 30mins. I eventually got the crabs at 19:50, which is 1.5hr after placing the order. Food see photo if it’s worth 210sgd. Will not come back again for poor customer service and over priced food.

Bought $18 worth of sushi from their 301 Tampines bazaar outlet yesterday at around 5pm and when we wanted to eat it for iftar, the rice and sushi was spoilt and very sour. We even placed it in the fridge and took it out a few minutes before maghrib. Very disappointed as it’s not cheap and we had high expectations for Home of Sushi, but we ended up throwing away all of it. Have messaged the business twice on Instagram but there was no response, hence why we have to resort to writing this. Please kindly look into your booth’s fridge or selling condition, as this is a very concerning matter.

Was here for Break-fast wz my families. Pre-order is necessary for the iftar to avoid waiting time. The service is good, dishes is suitable for break-fast. Nothing too heavy, the taste is light, non spicy.

This will be my first and last time buying takeaway or eating from the restaurant. My family and I was very disappointed with the size/weight of the crab. We regularly eat a lot of crab and was very certain the crab we got from the restaurant did not weigh one kilogram. The crab meat was not fresh meat and my family members could easily tell the restaurant used frozen crab meat. The sauce from the chilli crab was so starchy and it tasted more like those bottled chilli sauce. Enough said. Really disappointed. The bosses of this restaurant need to do a reality check.
