Nasi Padang (SGD $7) @ Hajjah Ratna Nasi Padang. . Established in 1967 by Madam Hajjah Sharifah, this humble eatery has consistently served the same range of about 30 dishes since its inception, maintaining their nostalgic flavours through time-tested recipes. . Their dishes are deeply traditional, emphasising slow home‑style preparation and richly layered flavours, with a good balance of aromatic herbs. Dishes lean towards warmth, depth, and gentle heat, without sharp intensity of taste. Their labour‑intensive methods mean only a small batch can be prepared daily, and they quickly sell out around lunch.

Hajjah Ratna Nasi Padang is located at a coffee stall beside the Golden Mile Food Center. A friend has recommended me to try this Nasi Padang. I ordered curry chicken, cuttlefish, salted egg and one vegetable for $11. It is quite expensive. The whole plate of food is cold and also not nice. I will not eat here again.

Super soft tauhu and black sotong, longtong gravy thick and flavourful. Paru too salty for my liking but overall taste really good. Rice also cooked iust nice. Come try

First time trying this corner nasi padang stall that is part of a coffee shop. Realised that it was popular with office workers around there. The dishes are prepared simple to keep the home cook taste. The prices are reasonable .
