If you want to know what benchmark Indian rojak tastes like, you go to Tekka Centre. Out of all the options in Singapore, Haji Johan Temasek Rojak takes the crown. Having been here several times now, I can confidently say the food is consistently excellent—it never misses the mark. On this visit, I went with a combination of prawn fritters, tempeh, sotong, egg flour cake, and paru (beef lung). The Fry: Everything was fried to absolute perfection. The fritters retained a great texture without being overly greasy, and the paru and sotong were cooked spot-on—not rubbery at all. The Gravy The true test of any Indian rojak is the dipping sauce, and this is where they separate themselves from the competition. It is a perfect balance of savory and nutty flavors, and crucially, it isn't overly sweet like many other stalls tend to make it. It binds the whole meal together beautifully. The Experience Despite a line quickly forming up, the service remained straightforward, efficient, and fast. They know how to manage a crowd, so you aren't left waiting forever for your fix. The Verdict Hands down the best Indian rojak in Singapore. The consistency across multiple visits is proof that they have their process dialed in. Whether you are a regular or trying it for the first time, this stall is a must try.

My friend suddenly craved Indian Rojak, so she ordered a meatless plate for us to share. It was crispy and satisfying—perfect as a snack.

Took away in the late afternoon and was disappointed to find that the potato was sour when I had it at home. 🥔 Have never come across a sour potato in all my years of having Indian rojak. 😒 Sauce and coconut fritter were good, tau kwa and fish cake were average.
