This is my 1st time to their stall at Nex and is the worst experience ever! On 10/6/23 @1611hr, no staff was seen but a self order kiosk at the stall so went ahead to order and paid via Paynow of $3.90. Waited for a few seconds then realised there was a note that says break time till 530pm! The note should be pasted on the self kiosk machine itself to prevent customers from ordering and pay. So, I waited and finally saw 2 staff came back at 1700hr and explained to them but was asked to wait till 1730hr and pointed to her break time! Finally I got my peanut kueh tutu but they tasted peanut butter n not the traditional grounded peanuts inside. Terrible service!!!!!

440pm both staff taking break together for the past 30mins and counting.... all customers who approach them were turn away and even though wanna buy kueh also kenna turn away. I think logical thing would be to take break by turn? They are taking their time to eat and watching their phone at the same time. Quite unlucky for the boss to hire workers like this.....

I bought 2 boxes of 4 and paid $10. I didn’t question the price and paid - trusting that the ‘Haig Road Putu Piring’ being a long time brand would be run by someone honest and trustworthy to advise what was a better deal. I bought 2 gula melaka and 2 chocolate in the first box. $5/mixed flavours The second box was 2 gula Melaka and 2 peanut. $5/mixed flavours. Price of mixed flavours is $5/box of four. Price for gula Melaka is $3.50/box of four. She didn’t advise me that I could put all 4 gula Melaka and pay $3.50 and the other 4 which were mixed and pay $5 for mixed flavours. Total of $8.50. I would have saved $1.50 if she had kindly advise me on this. I questioned her and she only smiled and said “if this is what customer wants i will just do so” i chose not to argue with her as I should have looked at the prices carefully even if I was trusting in this Haig Road Putu piring which I had bought from for years. The young lady gained $1.50 but have lost a customer forever. And I’m writing here to remind those who come after me to beware and check the prices. It doesn’t mean a long run business is always run by honest people. Honesty is critical in running a business. Prices too expensive. Young lady has lack of integrity. Lastly, I tasted the putu piring and it’s not as good as the ones sold at Haig Road. Will never buy from there again.

It’s sad that nothing is stated that they have a break time. I was there at 4.10 pm and they said they r on their break till 5.30 pm. So I asked, “from what time?” They said, after asking each other, “fr 4 pm”. Ok, it will help if it’s stated in Google maps. So we won’t waste our time going there. Because I went to Haig road and never experienced break time. Guess I was very lucky.

Really good! The coconut is fragrant and the putu piring is soft..Ate them up before I was able to take a pic! Glad that they are in Nex and can be convenient for me to buy more frequently.

Unfortunately. I haven't had the chance to try. The staff here is basically always on a break while all other stalls are continuously operating. We've dropped by at different times of the day either during the week or on the weekends but they've always been on a break

Good tasting putu piring but the shredded coconut always goes bad very quickly. Maybe something can be done about that. Have bought from the Haig Road store but Nex is closer and have only tried the original gula melaka flavour.

First try and it’s superbly good. The peanuts favour are great so do the coconut flakes and the tutu kueh. Long waiting time though as most tutu kuehs do.

Very delicious, the putu pouring is prepared fresh and it’s amazing! Really don’t know why the low reviews.. the stall was very clean, and I’m impressed by the taste and freshness! This is located at food junction on 4th floor in nex shopping mall, it takes approx 5mins for them to prepare.

Food is awesome but the staff, is rude. Not sure of her name but she looks indianmuslim. Could've been friendlier. The other staff was nice. I understand if workers are tired or cranky but i believe customer service is important.

Closer comparing to Haig Road original stall. The quality is very similar to the Haig road stall, but the shredded coconut turned sour very fast. Love they peanut one, but sadly we went before the break-fast and they only have gula melaka only. It's located in the food court.
