Chanced upon this pizza place and I would have to say I am very pleased with this surprise! Food is amazing and is on par (or better than) with some Italian restaurants, but at a much more affordable price. Chefs made the dough on the spot and the truffle pasta tasted absolutely perfect. Would definitely support again!

This is truly an Italian restaurant where everything is made from scratch. The pizza and pasta was amazing ! Great hidden gem within capitol piazza will definitely return again for the food.

Their pizza is what I call a 'real' authentic Italian pizza. I could a whole pizza all by myself. They make everything from scratch, from the pizza dough, to the Calzone, to even the Panino bread. I've been going back there again and again. Their prices are so affordable and it's my go-to pizza place. Been telling my friends and family to go there. I can't wait to see what more GIOIA has to offer. 😋🍕

Read it online and decided to give it a go. Definitely worth the travel to get this! Made from scratch! Pizza was great. Pasta was superb and quantity was worth the price! Even my 3 yr old boy ate it! Since the pastas and pizzas are made to order so you have to give the chef some time to prepare it. I say this again, it is really value for money! You will be paying X2 for less portion over at other more established restaurants compared to Gioia pastas/pizza Will definitely come again! Pros: taste, value and quantity

Pizza for price and quality definitely deserve a longer queue, perhaps it’s hidden in the mall so chances of someone seeing and passing by it’s hard unless you work within the area of course. But kudos to the chef who is humble and knowledgeable, he was interacting with us and sharing with us about his menu. One thing I would suggest is perhaps to revamp their Instagram page content to attract patrons.

GIOIA is such a gem. High quality food at great prices, with amazing taste and quick service. We ordered the pesto pizza (could be slightly salty for some people). The pizza base felt really authentic (thin, crispy and a good chew with air bubbles in the crust). We also got the beef salad and were surprised by how hearty it was. Also appreciated the condiments corner with olive oil, parmesan, chili and Tabasco. Do note that there is very limited (and slightly cramped) seating here, so it’s more like takeaway or very casual dinner place rather than somewhere you can hangout to catch up with friends over a relaxed dinner.

Amazing quality for the price! We got the cheese steak panini and basil pesto shrimp pizza and both were made fresh and delicious. The pizza crust was good, thin but fluffy and slightly crispy at the side. Overall super value and I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The aroma coming from the oven, just sitting there waiting for the pizza.. Really hit the spot! Fresh, quality ingredients (tomato base, cheese..). Flavourful herbal dough at perfect level of chewiness. Great location too. Happy and definitely coming back!!

Really surprised to find this quaint little shop selling freshly hand stretched pizzas and fresh pastas. The food is also halal. Their 1 for 1 promotion for the pepperoni and margherita pizzas was really value-for-money and they were so generous with the cheese. There was also no gst or service charge. The chef is very friendly and shared that he was trained by an Italian chef in the previous restaurant he worked at. He didn't let his shifu down as the food was fresh - everything from the pizza doughs to the pasta was handmade. They also have a proper pizza oven and good cookware so these investments definitely show in the food quality. Definitely going back to try their other dishes 😁

Impressed with the quality of food they offered. Everything we tried we love it. From pizza, pasta, panino and mushroom soup. Pocket friendly for such a quality of food. They made their own sauces and fresh ingredients that make their food so delicious and fresh. Must try their limited edition Pizza star nuttela, it’s unique taste, not too sweet with nuttela spread, hazelnut crunch and their homemade sauce. Love it Their service is excellent. The only thing is the seat space and tables are quite small and it’s not enough space if we order more food.

The aroma filled the air & kept us anticipated for their Signature pizzas which definitely doesn't disappoint. 🍕Pizza Margherita $16: Back to basic pizza that is simply impressive with generous Pomodoro, Mozzarella & Basil. Love the slightly chewy and thin crust. Must try! 🍕Pizza Truffle Chicken $19: Truffle lovers need to try this. The combi of Cheese Bechamel, Mushroom Mozzarella & Truffle Oil is simply divine. 🍝Linguine Pesto Prawn $18: Homemade Basil pesto, prawn, sundried tomatoes, and grana padano. The pesto sauce is creamy with pleasant garlicky taste. 👍 🍄Cream Mushroom Soup $7: Creamy bowl of goodness filled with White Button and Shiitake Mushroom, Creamy Bechamel and Vegetable Stock topped with Truffle Oil. Delicious pizza at great price. Don't let the small shop fool you. The pizza is comparable with more expensive restaurant ones and it's tasty right to the crust. Mushroom soup is tasty too and big. You will leave satisfied. Definately will come back for more. 2nd visit went for the Cabonara pasta. Although it's Turkey bacon, it's probably the tastiest turkey bacon I ever had. The cream sauce with cheese is so fragrant, tasty and sofisicated. You probably have not tried this flavour before.

FRESH AND DELICIOUS PIZZA!! GIOIA Pizza Cheesesteak Panino is so yummy! My son loves this place so much, so he was always telling me to go. We went together today and WOW - SO GOOD! The crust is perfect and so many gourmet toppings to choose from! The tomato soup was also excellent. This is good quality food. I am definitely coming back again - next time to try the calzone. 😋👍 This is a family-run business. The owner, Mr. Sani, personally made our pizza, and his daughter is helping him out. Excellent service, clean restaurant, and plenty of seating. This restaurant is also Halal. It is in B1 of the Capitol Piazza below Capitol Theatre. Easy access DIRECTLY from City Hall MRT OR plenty of parking. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!😋😋😋😋😋
