Bad mood inducing. The 4 cheese galette was like eating soggy dosai with semi-melted cheap cheese. The smoked duck galette was like eating roti plaster. The mango pancake was so bad (although it was supposed to be their best seller). The pancake itself was like the texture of bahulu (a sponge cake) rather than the light airy fluffy texture we were expecting. The cream and mango cubes were meh… And THE WORST OF ALL - the coffee! Omg. I asked for a double shot latte. The latte was like milk. With hardly any coffee taste. The cappuccino was equally bad. Overall. Nothing was good. Spoiled my Sunday morning.

New restaurant on CCP. We decided to come and check the foods, and it attracts us regarding the pastries. But in my mind too, I wanted to try their chicken cutlet with beef curry sauce. The meat of the chicken katsu is so soft but crunchy in the outside. The rice is on reasonable serving, and the side dish is like a salad style, with mayo. We enjoyed eating our orders, and I almost finished my meal. As for dessert, we ordered for a mango cheesecake. Actually I did not even taste the mango in it, it is just the typical cheesecake but not too sweet. And about the drinks, well they put more ice than the ice tea. The service is ok. Only 3 staff were on duty that time, and some customers are ordering take- outs also, that is why they are quite busy. In conclusion, it is quite pricey. Their service charge and GST is not included on the price on the menu. That is why better bring a lot of money when ordering there

Colleague and I didn’t know that Fruit Paradise now serves pasta and rice items so we popped by for lunch to try it out. I ordered the smoked duck carbonara (S$12.90++) whilst she ordered the Japanese aglio olio (S$6.90++). The smoked duck carbonara looked promising but I didn’t really enjoy it coz the carbonara sauce was not smooth. The Japanese was ok though. It would be ideal if it comes with some chicken bites or chicken cutlet. Will revisit again to try their chicken cutlet curry rice.

The crepe tasted delicious. I would recommend the affogato crepe and quattro pizza for those who are willing to taste something fresh

I used to like tarts from here for its crust and fruits. But recently their $8.80 banana mango tart was a personal disappointment. Smaller portion could be due to shrinkflation and its crust was bread/flour flavor like not baked properly. I think Delifrance's tarts are nicer and perhaps more consistent.

On 18 Feb 2024, around 5.30pm, I was at changi city point buying the whole cake - Classic Berry Berry tart. The picture shows $58 (inclusive of gst) and we were prepared to pay $58. The cashier instead said it’s $64. Upon clarifying on the difference in the picture displayed price (in front of the cashier), the cashier rudely remarked to my wife on whether we asked about the price before paying? Seriously, we are ok to pay the difference and we did, if you told us there is a printing error. But assuming we are blind and dumb by asking us whether we asked about the price is an insult. Rubbish customer service.

May be hard to locate. Head to level 1 and locate the shop at the middle, it’s behind toast box. There isn’t much option for fruit tarts. But they do serve other main dish here if you are hungry. Service was great and atmosphere is chilling. Ordered the mango pear tart as it is the only 3 layered tart. Celebrated my anniversary with this. The pear is crunch which make the whole tart savoury. Mango is acceptable. Serving is enough for two.
