ayam penyet at a reasonable price, $4.50, which comes in a big pieces of chicken n sort of plain white bryani rice... Chilli n fried chicken n ikan bilis are really good, only just the plain white rice seem really plain.. maybe cos the rest really tasty then u have to go with something plain... But is really recommend if u have a crave for ayam penyet... Extra chilli at 30cents seem funny rite... 😁

Prices have increased recently but it’s still good! Love the taste and presentation. Good value too. One of the better Muslim food here at Sims Vista food centre.

The breakfast items like mee siam and linting are very good. Add extras like fried eggs and Tempe!

Chanced upon this store that is family ran and oh my god! What a hidden gem this store is. We were greeted by an extremely friendly aunty who took our order. We ordered the ayam pengyet and the ayam was big! It was surprisingly crispy but yet tasted fresh. $5 for a plate. I also noted that the store has been around since 1948!

23 Aug 2023: Wonderful nasi ikan penyet...comes with nice topping of green chilli, onion and kicap manis. Pomfret is fresh, the sweet and tangy sambal is shiok, keropok is crunchy and he soup is flavorful. Sedap Lah!

Highly recommended $5 Ayam Penyet! Pretty n tasty! Chicken is tender. They are generous with keropok. Staff is polite too. Queue moves fast.

The nasi ayam penyet is awesome ($5.50)! The green chillis, onion and sweet sauce combo is just delish! The soup has a comforting taste to it. Stall operators are friendly and courteous too! Will be back to try the other dishes!

Cheap and delicious ayam penyet @$5. Reasonable price with good size servings. Their sambal, onions, chilli condiment is excellent. Other popular item is their fried pomfret fish. Breakfast items like mee rebuus etc are not available during lunch hours. Quick and super friendly service, they try to accommodate your request. As a customer really appreciate it. Thumbs up for their nice attitude which is lacking. Must try. 9/10

I did not try their penyet so can’t comment on that. But the mee rebus, soto ayam and lontong were terrible. Asked for an extra empty plate and seller wanted to charge 50 cents.
