Super overpriced Nasi Padang for neighbourhood coffeeshop. Food ok edible... Maybe will only return for the mee soto at $4.50 which only have noodles and chicken and surprisingly no bergedil. Definately never buying nasi padang again.

I’ve been supporting this Nasi Padang stall since their early days at Block 455, so it honestly pains me to write this. Over time, the standards have really slipped — and not just in one area, but across the board. Portions are inconsistent, pricing feels unpredictable depending on when you visit, and the overall food quality has become hit-or-miss. What used to be a reliable go-to now feels like a gamble each time. Another issue is the constant change in staff. The stall seems to be run by rotating teams, with new faces every few weeks. With that kind of turnover, it’s no surprise that there’s no consistency in how the food is prepared or served. My last visit on 8 April 2026 was particularly disappointing. I ordered a mee siam for $4.50, and the portion was shockingly small. I’m not exaggerating — it was gone in under six normal mouthfuls. That’s not about appetite; that’s just poor portioning. More worrying, though, was what I observed in terms of hygiene. The staff handling food was also using the same gloved hand to take cash and sort notes in the cash box. That completely defeats the purpose of wearing gloves and raises real concerns about food safety. It’s disappointing to see how far things have declined from where they started. I genuinely hope they take steps to address these issues, but for now, I can’t recommend this stall.

Rubbish pricing which changes each day and terrible value. Almost tasteless most dishes and high priced. For example, a piece of chicken and 1 vege, rice is $7.50! And today .. just to try again, 1 vege of beans, 1 sambal egg and no rice.. $4.50!! Just to compare prices, at the Chinese mixed rice stall at same place, i got 1 vege, 1 sweet sour fish, rice for $4. Really, save your money and patronsir elsewhere..even the seafood stall thereis better value!!

Dropped by to get b'fast for my mom and myself yesterday morning. When I reach the store, I saw the team were packing nasi lemak for bulk orders.(Must be more than 30 orders). There were 5 people before me and I was surprised that I did not have to wait for more than 5mins for my turn. The lady was handling the bulk orders and the gentleman was handling normal orders. I got my 3 orders less than 15mins. For the price, the portion is reasonable. Service was good. Food was good. I saw the negatives reviews but my experience was a good one. No complaints.
