A popular lunch spot among locals! The location is a bit hidden, didn’t see any tourists when I visited. The food tastes just as good as the more famous beef noodle places, but without the long lines and the prices are much more reasonable too. The shop owner was very welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

for 220NTD for beef noodle soup and long fried dumplings was delicious and great value for money in central taipei. The lady at the store was nice, polite and fast with her serving. The place is well air conditioned even though it has it's door opened all the time. highly recommend

It's known as a popular restaurant among locals, but it's always a complicated place. I am very satisfied because I can have a fulfilling meal at an affordable price. Thank you for your kindness and meticulous service despite your busy schedule.

For a beef noodle shop primarily famous for dumplings, they sure make a great beef noodle soup here...

Korea’s famous chef Lee Yeon-bok once introduced this little cozy shop on his show, so I wanted to check it out. Even though I’m (trying to be) a vegetarian, I still visited and ended up ordering the beef soup—totally my mistake because I thought it came with noodles—and some dumplings. The owner was incredibly kind and kept apologizing for seating me with other guests, which I was completely fine with. The shop itself was perfectly nice, but purely based on my personal taste, the soup and dumplings just weren’t my cup of tea. If you have trouble with meat or oily food, then maybe one visit is enough. There’s none of those strong Taiwanese spice aromas here — like star anise or the other herbal spices you often smell in local dishes — so I think most people would be totally fine with it.
