For those interested in what you can make out of cardboard, paper and rebar (like my family), this place is a fun spot for a couple of hours. Gift store has a lot of unique paper-based products (including hats and bags). Got there by local bus, which was easy to navigate using Google maps. Restaurant was pricey, but it's not every day that you can get a personal hot pot served in paperware. 🙂

I feel like this place is asking you to buy more than you'd want to. The commercialized aspect has destroyed the arty feel of the place. You need to pay a 200 nt ticket and then are given 50 nt coupons but they have to be used in three separate places and in order for you to use them you must pay more than 50 nt so that they still make money off you... the art is unique but the place has obviously not been kept up and it's filled with kids and families that seem to disregard their surroundings. I saw some great artistic sculptures with broken pieces that have not been replaced and some outdoor sculptures covered in grime that no one has seen the need to clean for a long time.

It’s an easy and enjoyable place for kids. Friendly staffs and creative items, kids meals and more to explore. We spent five hours here, enjoyed a slow moment. More than two hours is recommended. Kids love this place and would like to come back again. Highly recommended.

Carton King isn’t a traditional “roller-coaster” style amusement park — it’s more like a playground for creativity and imagination. Key attractions include: • Cardboard versions of famous landmarks. The park features cardboard replicas of iconic structures from around the world — for example, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben (London), Dutch windmills, and more. Walking through, you kind of “travel the world” via paper sculptures. • Life-sized cardboard animals & “zoo.” There’s a section — sometimes called the “Carton King Zoo” — where you can see animals (e.g. giraffes, zebras, etc.) made from corrugated paper/cardboard. The detail are sometimes surprisingly good. • Interactive / DIY activities. The park offers opportunities for visitors to assemble cardboard-based items (like lamps, small furniture, toys, etc.) — many are pre-cut so kids (and adults) can build them without needing scissors or glue. • Cardboard-themed dining and café. One of Carton King’s most memorable features: the restaurant and café inside the park — tables, chairs, lighting, even serving trays and bowls/cups are made from cardboard (or specially treated paper). It’s sturdy enough to sit on; people often test it with heavier weight to demonstrate. • Souvenir & gift shop. There are shops selling creative paper-made souvenirs: paper bags, lamps, decorative items, craft kits, and more. Great for a quirky, eco-friendly keepsake. • Mini-train ride around the park. There’s a small cardboard-themed train ride that loops around the compound — fun for kids and photo opportunities for anyone.

First visit 7 yrs ago was very impressed. Got some additions now but it’s kind of a bit run down. Not much visitors other than some local elderly.
