⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Busan Jib Fried Chicken – Myeongdong If you are visiting Myeongdong and looking for halal Korean fried chicken, Busan Jib is definitely one of the places worth trying, especially for Muslim travelers. We came here specifically to try their Korean fried chicken, and overall I was quite satisfied with the food. We ordered a combination of original crispy fried chicken and Korean-style spicy/sweet glazed chicken. The chicken itself was really good. The original version had a crispy and crunchy coating on the outside while the meat inside remained tender and juicy. It wasn’t overly greasy, which made it easy to keep eating. I personally enjoyed the seasoned chicken as well. The sauce was thick, slightly sweet, savory, and spicy, with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. It has that familiar Korean fried chicken flavor that many people are looking for when visiting Seoul. Having both versions together was actually a good choice because you can alternate between the simple crispy chicken and the stronger flavored sauced chicken. One thing worth mentioning is the price. In my opinion, it is quite expensive for fried chicken, especially compared with many regular Korean fried chicken restaurants around Seoul. However, considering the location in the heart of Myeongdong and the fact that this place specifically caters to Muslim visitors, the higher price is somewhat understandable. Another interesting thing I noticed was how many Indonesian customers were eating here. As an Indonesian myself, it almost felt like being in a restaurant back home for a moment. 😂 If you are Indonesian and worried about finding familiar, Muslim-friendly food while traveling in Seoul, this place will probably feel very comfortable. The restaurant itself is simple and casual rather than fancy. It is the type of place you visit mainly for the food and convenience. The location in Myeongdong also makes it very practical to include during a day of shopping or sightseeing around the area. Overall, I had a positive experience at Busan Jib. The chicken was delicious, crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. The price is definitely on the expensive side, but the halal/Muslim-friendly concept and convenient Myeongdong location make it an attractive option for Muslim travelers. Recommended, particularly for Indonesian and other Muslim tourists looking to experience Korean fried chicken while in Seoul. 🇰🇷🍗🇮🇩

Great service and delicious Korean Bbq. We visited there on our first day of Seoul and we still think about the food. Besides the meat you can also find traditional Korean food like bibimbap and variety of noodle. One of the staffs could speak Turkish and he was reallu helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We paid 36.000 KRW for the meat, 12.000 KRW for the bibimbap and 9.000 KRW for cold noodles

Had a great dining experience at BusanJib BBQ! Being halal-certified made it an easy choice, and the location is very convenient to get to. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious, with well-marinated meats and generous portions that made the BBQ experience really enjoyable. One thing I really liked was that you can also order food from their other outlets, and they’ll bring it straight to your table. It’s a nice option if you’re dining with a group and everyone wants something different. Overall, a great place for halal Korean BBQ with tasty food, excellent service.

The best halal Korean BBQ in Myeongdong! We had such a wonderful experience at Busan Jib. If you're looking for delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced halal Korean food in Myeongdong, this place is an absolute must-visit. The food was amazing, the quality of the meat was excellent, and every dish we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The service was incredibly fast, and we didn't have to wait in line, which was a huge plus after a long day of shopping. What gave us the most peace of mind was that the restaurant is halal-certified, so we could enjoy our meal without any worries. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Another big advantage is the spacious seating area. Even with children and lots of shopping bags and luggage, we still had plenty of room and felt very comfortable dining there. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for great halal Korean BBQ at a reasonable price!

⭐⭐✨⭐⭐An Absolute Gem for Halal Authentic Korean Food in Myeongdong! If you want the real deal when it comes to authentic Korean food without any of the halal worries, Busan Jib is an absolute masterpiece. We have been there twice and we ordered a mix of everything, and every single dish knocked it out of the park: - The Korean BBQ: Cooking premium, high-quality beef cuts over the charcoal grill right at the table was an incredible experience. The meat was perfectly marbled, exceptionally tender, and packed with flavor—especially when paired with the fresh scallion salad and pickled onions. - Galbitang (Short Rib Soup): This was a massive highlight! The beef rib meat was practically falling off the bone, served in a deeply rich, comforting broth topped with shredded egg garnish. It's the ultimate comfort food. - Bibimbap: Beautifully presented with fresh veggies, seasoned beef, and seaweed—perfectly balanced and fresh. The hospitality was just as amazing as the food. The staff were incredibly attentive, helping us navigate the grill and making sure we had everything we needed. Finding genuine halal BBQ of this quality in Seoul isn't always easy, but Busan Jib does it flawlessly. 10/10 recommendation. I will absolutely be coming back every single time I visit Seoul!
