Had bibimbap and sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew). Bibimbap was ok-ok. But sundubu jjigae was so goooood! Aunties are nice too. Went around 2.40pm, still got empty tables. Pay by cash to avoid 10% charge for card 🫠They have 3 restaurants - fried chicken, normal meals and bbq. But we can order fried chicken and eat at normal meals area. Price wise - ok for Myeongdong area.

Hidden behind the busy markets, we found this place based on the Google reviews. We ordered the chive pancake (super yummy), Tofu stew and fried chicken. This place was serving halal so it didn't feel as traditional. Fried Chicken was super juicy but I think it needs a touch more salt.

A must try Halal joint and opportunity to experience both Halal Korean cuisine and available indo-malay options for most muslim guests. The restaurant seems to have recently expanded well and they have three sections catering for fried chicken, sea food and Korean style bbq. We visited them thrice in three days and were not disappointed. Does get crowded in evenings but you can always manage to find some place. The workers at the restaurant provide great service and always have a smile on their face. You could always order food from one section and have it brought to another and so you could end up trying all three types of cuisine together. The restaurant boasts of some famous and diplomatic people visiting them. Definitely worth a try while you are in Myeongdong.

Busanjib is located at small alley in myeongdong street. The chicken was delicious, crispy yet tender, you all need to try. The portion is nice for two people. The guy cooking was considerate, I came late but he still accept to cook for me although they are about to close. Recommended!

(In reply to owner: We requested for a baby chair at Busan-Jib, specifically the store in between the chicken store and the bbq store. We even asked the chicken store as we were ordering chicken from there and they said they do not have any as well.) Please check with your staff again. I remember having to put my toddler on my lap due to that. Please be truthful and clearer in your explanation. Thank you.) Quite shocked by the small portion of food given the price. I had soft tofu stew with two bowls of rice and a serving of chicken. It cost close to 50,000 won. The taste was mediocre and the serving was small as compared to other halal (cheaper) food I’ve tasted in Korea. I understand that the rental fee is high due to the location. However, as a consumer, I felt that it was still a bit of a rip-off. The quality of the food and the price tag doesn't match. The alley was filled with smokers and the whole vibe was just a bit off. There wasn’t any toddler/baby chair available as well so it wasn’t family-friendly. If you’re dining out with little kids, it’s definitely not the most ideal place for you.

Great place in a good location in the heart of Myeongdong. It’s in a small street, away from the crazy crowd. Small menu, prices vary. Bring cash, as there will be a fee for using a credit card. Fats service and tasty meals.

Halal food place in the middle of Myeongdong. Menu includes Korean dishes and fried chicken. Price slightly higher than other similar restaurant. The grilled mackerel is fresh and delicious. Seafood ramen doesn't have as much seafood item than before. The restaurant is located in an alleyway so there are a lot of people smoking outside the shop, so there will be time when it's not comfortable to eat because of the smoke from people smoking cigarettes gets into the shop.

Located in the center of myeongdong Thera are 3 busanjib next to each other : busanjib grill, busanjib chicken, and busanjib general korean food. I was in the busanjib that specialized in the korean food. The food was ok although not very excellent. The bimbimbap was ok.

Let’s get it out of the way - it’s popular because it’s halal. Now, judging this place without this qualification, it’s very very average. In fact I’d say expensively average. We went to the BBQ outlet (there’s the chicken and then the seafood shop) where we ordered the beef, octopus and seafood Korean pancake. The best was the octopus, it was nice. The beef wasn’t even marinated and worse of all, wasn’t grilled well. The very friendly Indonesian staff cut the beef, turned it over randomly and left. The fire was just too hot and it made the beef get overcooked too quickly. She just left. It’s not like the restaurant was full either. So yeah, service wasn’t that attentive. And the pajeon was unloved. Did I mention that there’s only two side dishes - kimchi and roasted seaweed? And only one dip? No brine, or salt, no sesame oil, no ssamjang even. Just kicap. I have to say, the venue is pretty run down and looks unloved. I get the whole “mum and pop” vibe but not at that price. Our 3 dishes cost KRW 154,000. And if you pay with Card it’s an extra 10%. So bring lotsa cash. Anyway, overrated because of its halal status when there’s many more better places away from the tourist trap that’s Myong Deong.

Overrated halal restaurant actually. Bbq meat is not marinated at all and so pricey. The waiters were rushing to clear our food and clean the table for queuing customers outside. With the price i paid for it i can get 2 rounds for kobe beef bbq in japan. Seafood side quite okay except the mackerel grilled was too salty. Fried chicken for me just okay. As mentioned by other reviewers, yes the alley to the restaurant is dirty due cigarettes butt. I would suggest people go for yang good for halal bbq, it is more delicious with the smokey charcoal flavour.

Amazing experience at this Halal korean bbq restaurant. The wagyu meat (Australia and NZ) was tender and soft! Looks like this restaurant is the favourite spot for Malaysian tourist. The tables quite limited but suffice, can serve approximately 8 bbq grill stoves at a time. Overall totally recommended!

Great halal food. They have two restaurants side by side. One for fried chicken and one for korean food. I tried the fried chicken. It was freshly prepared, hot and juicy chicken. The spicy sauce can be quite spicy. There is also a musollah prayer room here. Slightly pricey but i love to support halal establishments.

If you want to experience halal Korean BBQ then you can visit Busanjib, it is within Myeongdong Night Market Street, so it's very easy to look for it. They also divided it into 3 doors, so either go BBQ, k-fried chicken, or seafood. The price is high but it's because they serve halal meat which is imported from Australia/New Zealand. But you won't regret the money you paid, because the meat tastes juicy and delicious, just simple salt, pepper, and sesame oil will bring up the flavors already. The staff helps us to cook the meats, he was very nice and had good English as he came from Malaysia 😁 We ordered lamb and beef for the meat, as well as kimchi stew which is best with grilled meat. They give seaweed for your rice if you want to mix it. We ordered the raw octopus as well and I liked it, if you are scared of its movement, you can leave it a few minutes then it will stop moving 🤣 Overall, it was a good experience, and if you want to experience halal K-BBQ after shopping spree in Myeongdong then this is the perfect place for you.
