The decor of the place was quite interesting and was reminiscent of void deck mama shops. Ordered the Champion’s Breakfast set and was informed kindly by the staff that there was going to be a 30 minute waiting time. Understandable, since there was a decent crowd when we arrived. The food was relatively decent for its price, and the staff did try their best to have good service and was very friendly. However, I have to note that we were given stained cutlery, nothing too major, probably just water marks from dishwashing that were wiped off easily with a piece of tissue. That being said, the good service and the design of the place was interesting enough that I may go back again when I’m around the area.

Delicious food that we had here on a Saturday, 22nd October.. we went for the $28 set meal for 2 with Hotplate Stingray, Sambal Kangkong, Tom Yam Soup complete with two plates of white rice . The servings were generous too. Food was served very fast as well

Really love the decor and ambiance! Food and drinks is very large portion at a rather reasonable price! Almost 900ml? For $4.50 Breakfast is only 12.90 that is a plate full of food! The replica of mamashop is 1-1 💯 you can even purchase the little snacks and toys from them! How nostalgic! Love it!

We had wanted to try the food here after feedback from neighbors who ate last week when the eatery opened, especially with the 1 for 1 champion breakfast as well as the various tidbits that were shared out FOC. We arrived at 510 pm on a Sunday evening and managed to snag a table. The place filled out fast and by 6 pm, there was quite a queue. The decor is nostalgic and fun. But dinner here was not - the first dish arrived within 10 minutes, while the black pepper beef arrived around 25 minutes. We had to keep chasing for the third dish, which only arrived after about 40 minutes. The drinks had arrived within 5 minutes of ordering using the QR code. The seafood fried rice looked and tasted bland, and the serving grace was the sambal chilli with lime that gave it some punch. The black pepper beef was okay, but was a small portion for the price. The pan bee hoon was okay, but again could have been tastier. A plus was that the bee hoon was crispy and charred nicely, and the ingredients were fresh. Iced tea O was a large portion for the $3.90 price, though the hot version was $1 less. Did not know ice cost so much. It was good that they had Fanta grape as a drink option. Overall, it was an okay meal but we are unlikely to want to return. They only accept Nets and cash at present.

Went for lunch and didn’t know the breakfast menu had a timing. Ordered the sambal hor fun and stir fry beehoon with a plate of kangkong too. I like how the food were served really hot and portion was decent too. Kangkong was a little too salty. Very nice deco in the shop, service was prompt too. Might drop by again to try the breakfast.

Ordered this under food delivery for a family dinner and we were satisfied with the quality and taste! The set for 2-3 pax is extremely worth it, and we added on one more meat dish. The Har Cheong Gai deserve special mention as it was the type that just has fried chicken skin with minimal batter, and was bursting with flavour. The sweet and sour fish was also tasty. Portions were a little small, but will definitely order again and try more of their seafood next time ☺️

Food was ok, we ordered bbq stingray and seafood soup. The sambal on the stingray was not spicy enough. Place is relatively crowded, good to call to make reservations if coming in bigger group. 2 men live singing performance was good, but a bit loud as we are sitting right in front of them. Service by the staff there was great, they are polite and attentive. The staff gave us a small cup of biscuits while we were queuing and waiting for a table.

Breakfast is delightful, big portion with a giant size Milo. Not crowded on a weekday morning, a good place for a quiet breakfast.

Oct 2023. Visited this awfully happy place for late dinner. Omg, had an awfully yummilicious meal. The highlight is the sambal sweet potato leaves. Not many eateries serve this dish. Its a must have. Thanks Ms Ai and team. What a way to wrap the hectic day. Am happy. ≈=========================== Have not visited this eatery for awhile. The service and meal served are still awsome. Highly recommended, especially for family get together. Thank you Ms Ai and team!

Nice fun cheery place tucked in a corner. Food was a total let down sorry to say. Far far cry from established eating houses with zi char style. Food had zero wok hey and rather tasteless and almost bland. I looked around and I am pretty sure I wasn't alone given the handful of half eaten food. Quantity is reasonable and menu had good variety which was probably its saving grace. Hyper fast serving time as well if you need a quick fix.

Went to the restaurant to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The staff were helpful and fun to interact with, and it’s great to have a kids area for the little ones to hang around so adults can eat in peace 😄. Food was great too. Will be going back again definitely.

This is a great disappointment..smells fishy, Flesh is stiff, dry and yellowish like rubber band texture. Signs that the crab has died for some time. I asked they admitted.they pre-slaughter the crabs before it was ordered. They had wanted me to pay half for the crab though I barely touched anything. I was on the phone and just starting starting to eat as I was alone. They eventually took the crab off the bill but insisted I pay for the mantous and the rice when I reasoned rice I only ate 2 mouths with the sauce and 3 mantous and didn't finish them cos the crabs not fresh. As I eat I am also worried about diarrhea. Maybe is half or a day in chiller and at least a day or 2 in freezer if they don't have crab order or didn't use up what they slaughtered. They don't have a crab tank So none of the crabs they ordered are freshly killed before cooking. So for a bad dinner, 2 mouth of rice and 3 buns i paid $8. Sigh. Life is so hard cos people do things like that. Kill the crab just before you cook else don't sell crab la. If nobody order crabs it will be in your chiller or freezer or chiller then freezer for a few days leh.. Crabs are luxury items. Must serve fresh to be fair to customer's big bill.

A halal eatery. Ordered sum lor hor fun for myself, $6.50. Taste wise, the sauce taste good, but the fish is on the dry side. would recommend. Friend order sweet and sour filet fish rice and said it wasn’t too bad as well. Ambience here is nice, spacious and family friendly, with a corner for children. However, the price point for drinks is on the high side, with a hot milo costing $2.80. Dined here on 01 Feb 2024, would say it is my third time dining in.
