Came here for the Sunday roast, which was delicious, full of flavour. Big portion and great value. I unfortunately wasn’t too keen on the desserts but the main was lovely. Really nice atmosphere and amazing service waitress

The best Sunday roast I've had in a long time. We were sat with a nice view of the canal, and the live saxophone player provided a lovely ambience to the meal. Our mains were brought out quickly and service was attentive. The meal is so well priced, including desserts in our roast sitting. The food was incredible, we were offered an extra gravy boat and the meat fell off the bone. A highlight was the mac and cheese, and both desserts were also so tasty we managed to finish them after our huge mains.

We really enjoyed our experience, byob, lovely atmosphere. The short rib was tender, great flavor, seasoned French fries are a major plus!! Parmesan butter was a great addition to the "focaccia-ish" bread. My only gripe would be that I wish the salad plates and salad were cold, it was room temperature and the romaine wasn't crisp like I prefer for caesar salads! Overall we will dine again and try their sister restaurant!

Trigger warning: the food portion is based on the chicken dish (I cannot comment on the red meat & I know this placed is known for that). Firstly, the concept and service is fabulous. I loveeeee the homegrown style, local aesthetic and the dining style. The owners are super lovely too. The saxophone player was amazing and added to the great vibe. Table clothes and cutley are a little flimsy… Now, onto the chicken. It was bad. Honestly, it was really bad. Chicken was tender-ish but the layer of skin was thick and rubbery. Crispy would be 10x better. The chicken was not seasoned and the sauce was nice but it’s basically a knock off of the PF Changs dynamite prawns sauce (as is the name…). Fries are mid. Dessert was nice but presentation could be better. Chicken should have been £30 max. Total £50 ph (including added service charge - which I did NOT like btw) does not make it worth it. Maybe red meat does, I don’t know.

An excellent meal for our first visit. The staff were all great and took good care of us. We chilled on the canal side veranda as we arrived a tad early. The beef melted off the bone and the chicken was tasty with a delicious sauce. The only accompaniment were the tasty fries. Loved the atmosphere and the live music. We liked the fixed price and BYOb too. We’ll return!
