They say the second time's a charm. The first time, I went with my wife and kids on a Saturday evening, and it was sold out. This time, I came alone at 7:30 pm on a Thursday to try the food on my own. I started with Rojak Bandung. The cuttlefish texture wasn’t rubbery at all. The taste of the dish takes me back to the old days, the first time I had it when I was a kid at the old Geylang Serai market in the '90s, where they sold ‘Telur Penyu’ along the walkway. Next, I had the Batu Berapi chicken fried rice. This really hits home for me. So comforting and delicious. It tastes like home-cooked food, with a sunny-side-up egg yolk bubbling over the rice and a side of sambal belacan for that spicy kick to finish. Overall, Alhamdulillah, it was a good meal. I plan to return with friends to try the rest of the menu.

The food was decent, but not good enough for us to make another trip back. The shop only opened at 2:00 PM and, surprisingly, closed by 5:00 PM. What was frustrating was that there still appeared to be plenty of ingredients available on the counter, yet we were told they had run out of stock. It seemed more likely that too many pre-orders had been accepted, leaving little or nothing for walk-in customers. I understand that pre-orders are important, but it doesn’t feel fair for customers who make the effort to dine in, only to be turned away despite the shop still appearing fully stocked. Hopefully, they can manage their inventory and pre-orders better in the future to provide a better experience for everyone.

We came at 7PM, most of the things sold out, only left nasi goreng. For those who want to eat here, must come aerlier, as they open at 2PM and close at 9.30PM. Just dissapointed coz cant try any food.

Came by to buy goreng pisang but left appalled by the aunty's attitude. I was in the area and thought to get some pisang goreng for my family. I only had $1.60 cash on me and politely asked if I could get 2 pcs for $1 (instead of the usual $2 for 4pcs). The aunty's response was rude, dismissive, and condescending. I understand businesses have their own pricing rules, but there is no excuse for treating customers that way. Good food doesn't excuse poor service.

Yummy food! Tried the hor fun, stingray, chicken wing and the fried rice. The chef is very friendly and kind, definitely recommend coming down to visit and trying out their food!
