1 star. Worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Spent over $80 and regretted it immediately. The fried fish and prawns came out dripping with oil. One bite and it felt greasy and nauseating. The prawns were soft and mushy — not fresh at all, zero bounce. The fish fell apart into small fragments instead of coming in a proper fillet. Poor quality for the price. Looks decent inside, but the food does not match. Will not return.

I first came across this brand at great world city but its my first time dining with them, and i must say this vivo outlet has got the most efficient and faultless customer service from its waiting staff that i have not seen in Singapore for ages !! We were served by Marcus and another lady, they were swift, attentive and accommodating despite us seating far away from the main dining area, Marcus also took the effort to check out on us as and when if everything is fine, giving the most impeccable services not seen in Singapore or even michelin rated restaurants, reminding us on the malt vinegar application, what fish for the best texture and to be honest it was him who told us hours ago that the platter for two, you may substitute the fish species for a top up fee, thats why we came back, so thank you very much. Unlike a lot of chippy shops, the whole restaurant despite serving sea catch does not reek of that revolting fishy pungency, portions are very good size in fact the haddock burger alone got me extremely stuffed. Condiments were complimentary, and standard came with sriracha mayo and curry sauce on top of tartar, you may request for more and they will serve it to you instantly. i do see a lot of people ordering oysters and soups too, it should be pretty good. We like that the batter was coating perfectly and they were thoughful enough to wrap the lemon in a netting like a coffee bag kind, so you dont dirty your fingers. chippys are hard to comeby in Singapore, and with haddock and halibut available, despite frozen is also super hard to comeby, on top of that impeccable service by Marcus , i am sold !!!!

Tucked away at VivoCity, BatterCatch ended up being a very pleasant surprise. The food was really solid and felt like good value, but what stood out most for me was the service from Michelle. She was thoughtful from the start and even helped find a quieter, cooler spot, which made the whole meal much more comfortable on a hot day.

The food was delicious. The staff was really friendly too. The food came pretty fast The fish was tender and really nice. But i hope they do have kids menu. Since my son still cant eat that much, i need to share my plate with him. if i order another plate that would be too much for him 😅

First time dining at this outlet arrived at opening time 11am and ordered a pan seared whole barramundi fish set which comes with a citrus carrot soup and an iced lemon tea. Soup is savoury creamy and tasted good with prawn bits. The pan seared barramundi is cooked well with its skin charred brown while keeping the flesh juicy. Fish size is average but is quite filling with its accompanying sides of potato and tomato for 2. Ordered also its English milk tea tart with ice cream out of curiosity. Tart is served frozen - interesting tea dessert though vanilla ice cream tasted overly sweet. Enjoyable meal overall with great service.
