The Ayam Penyet was average. Very small portion of the chicken for $6.50. But the chilli was nice.

Ayam Bakar - chicken is tender, rice fragrant & chilli super shiok!

Tasty Ayam Bakar ($6.50)! Comes with chicken rice and a tangy spicy soup on the side. The chilli is not too spicy (speaking as someone who can’t take spice) and seemed like it was blended with eggplant? Not sure but I really liked it. Good flavours on the chicken but it’s not exactly the most tender. Overall, quite enjoyable!

Was intending to eat something else until we stumbled onto this stall. Ordered their Ayam geprek and Ayam pecak. The rice was wonderful as it’s using Hainanese chicken rice flavor. The chicken is flavourful and tender. The chili stole the show by being super spicy yet so shiok. That said, the fried batter is a tad gelat so maybe can work a lil more on that I guess.

The chili is so good and spicy. If the chili paste can be a little bit more sweet will be perfect in my personal opinion. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy. It is fresh made.

Ok ayam penyet. A bit overcook and chicken meat is tough. But life very normal. The sambal Chili is solid.

I am a regular patron. Best to visit the stall during noon as they closed before 8pm. The chicken is marinated with savoury batter so as the outside is crisp and tasty. The fragrance rice (chicken oil rice) is done appropriate and I usually have 2 bowls per serving. Leaving the comment for sambal out as everybody is approving of it. Yes it is nice. I am checking the operation timing now and on my way for early lunch. CDC voucher allowed.

Love the ayam bakar, have had it many times both takeaway and dine-in. Portion is huge, chicken is always tender, the fried tempeh is also really fragrant. I actually prefer this to the nasi lemak stall next to it.
