I could tell the chicken was prepared with love. It was evenly cooked and moist inside. The chilli and peanut sauce was a delight to enjoy. Though, level 2 had quite a kick to it! The presentation also impressed me, with the tempura leaves, my first time seeing this dish. Unsuspectingly good food in a quiet neighbourhood, worth a try :)

Their gepuk is one of the best. Ayam rempah takes longer time and we didn’t get to try it. But overall chili is good, portion is good and service is good as well. Very decent and satisfying plate. Worth trying and will come back again!

Self review for high rating. All is flat. Attitude problem. No greeting just sour face. Told to wait for order taking, while he seem busy doing other things like hanging plastic bags the hook, putting the chilli into the bag.. etc.. Menu item only 2 item. Original or rempah. Cannot produce. Only original available. No taste. Zero marinating. Fried cabbage nothing special. Tasteless. Tempeh and tahu, also flat. No taste. Rice hard and tasteless. If like spicy, can come. If like some taste, can get from the big bottle of sweet sauce. Should provide side soup. But they are too busy and overwhelmed by people believing in their high rating. Overall.. waste time.

Delicious ayam gepok! I highly recommend getting the Level 2 spice, it has just the right amt of heat. Don’t forget to generously drizzle the sweet sauce over the rice and it really brings the whole meal tgt~ I ordered in advance and chose self-collection, which was very convenient as there was no waiting time!! There’s also a car park right next to the coffee shop and when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of parking spaces available

Our first time eating Ayam Gepuk. The chicken is hugh and they are not stingy with the rice potion. The components are all complete like tempeh, tahun and fried cabbages. The peanut sauce mix together with the sambal and soy sauce is star of the show. We had ordered extra peanut sauce cos it's so good. Definitely coming back just to eat this.
