I’m back here again, twice in as many days. Today craved for roti (although keep telling myself to have roti only when I am in MY cos the price differential is just too big to justify having it in SG) and ordered from one of the only two halal stalls in Kallang Estate HC - 17 Old Airport Road This is a surprise find again. One Kosong and One Teluh priced at $3/- total. I always attack the Teluh first before going to the Kosong. The Teluh is done very well and texture is fluffy - one of the better ones I had in SG. The Kosong is crispy and both are not oily! I chose the fish curry (default choice for me) and the taste is good, just that I would like the spiciness level a tad higher. This is a One Man Operation so I guess you might have to wait about 15-20 mins if the Boss gets a bit busy. It’s worth the wait and I am pretty sure I will return for more from this stall. I raised my head today and found one of the key reason why this HC feels airier and cooler than most. They have installed the giant fans for the HC which does not have a very high ceiling. And it works! Couldn’t hide my fondness for the return stations so attached a couple of pictures for them

Best prata shop I ever went, I love the prata there because it's very crispy and tasty, I enjoyed the mutton curry which comes with a piece of potato. I go there every Sunday morning or during public holidays and also school holidays. I usually have to wait for 15-20 mins for the prata but if you go before 7a.m. you don't have to wait that long.

Love the Pratas here. Nice crispy Pratas & wonderful rich curry! The best I had. Kept coming back! AThe curry is flavourful, unlike many others which are often watery.

Had 2 egg pratas ($1.60 each). Was crispy and flavourful. The fish curry was flavourful as well. One of the better prata places I’ve tried.

The prata here is good but be prepared to wait as there’s usually quite a long queue!

The best prata in old airport road. Truly the best. The cook is very kind and handsome. Order the roti prata egg chese or onion or mushroom. I miss this

Havent had such a good prata in a long time! The dough seems to be different from the usual factory-supplied ones- it is sweet and buttery! The pratas were crispy and chewy. Both mutton and fish curries provided were fantastic. The hawker is clean and renovated… the shop closed at 12.45pm-ish when we were there. Thumbs up!
