I came here on a Thursday few weeks ago, the food was so great I tried the meat skewers, hummus with meat “best one in Melbourne”, and the batata. Everything was so delicious and authentic. As for the staff, they were nice but a bit pushy as they don’t want new customers? When we tried to change the booking time they mentioned that they might cancel it cuz it’s crowded and it was not, also they kept asking us if we want to order new dishes and dessert multiple times before we finish what we had, I guess they were in a rush to close the restaurant early or something, other than that it was a lovely experience but the staff needs to chill a bit.

Very disappointing experience. The portions were tiny, and the food was incredibly bland. Lebanese cuisine is known for being rich and full of flavour, but this completely missed the mark. It was by far the worst Lebanese food I’ve ever tried, and the prices were extortionate for the portion sizes and quality

We had a great experience dining at Ablas! The food was delicious, with authentic flavours and beautiful seasoning. The mjadra and the lamb kafta were definitely the highlights of the night. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend!

Ablas always so good! Went for a date with my love here and they always treat us so beautifully. Outstanding tonight was Archie who took such great care of us. Got the standard banquet and it was DELISH. Really good value for money. My favourite was the tabbouleh. “My favourite was the lamb skewers” said my date who had the lamb skewers. Will be returning (as always). Thanks Archie and the team at Ablas!

Without a doubt, this is a 100% recommended place. All dishes I have tried are well presented, decent size, tasty... very nice indeed. The stuff are always very attentive, and the venue itself has a touch of uniqueness. The price is significantly higher than other places, but, all in all, I think it's worth it.
