Bought char kway teow with oysters for $9 from Hawa. Enquired on the price for chicken (which is a cheaper protein), and price is still the same. I understand prices have increased everywhere in Singapore, but $9 seriously? Nonetheless, I bought a plate of the oyster ckt to try and found the taste to be underwhelming. The auntie who took my order, was nice though, can't say the same for the ABC staff itself, but overall, will not return. Al-makan and Saffron has better food priced lower or the same with better services.

Lil bit warm but spacious. My go-to mamak place. Ordered nasi kandhar, the lemak chili tasted nice and spicy. Top notch. Be wary when choosing the dishes, sur-(price) $$$$...

What was suppose to be peak hours turns out to be too suspiciously quiet and empty. I thought everyone was ordering online. Later, i realised it was because the food here is wayy below market standards. No wonder its empty despite dinner time. Waited so long just for cold foods. Waiting staffs are busy chatting and flirting with young lady cashier. The murtabak is so bad. $12 for a cold soggy soft murtabak. Super regret. No way am i coming here ever again. The goreng pisang also another sad case. Cold and soggy. Gone case man this place. Gone.

Ordered bee hoon goreng and nasi goreng ikan bilis for takeaway at 8.25pm today (16/1). Checked with the female cashier at 8.45pm if my food was ready. I was told to wait. At 8.55pm, I checked with another male staff as I had been waiting for 30mins. He found my food was already packed and left on a table but no one called my number to collect my order. Poor service!

Came on day 2 of cny, despite some said service were bad(maybe improved after the negative feedback) , a yound lady service us was very prompt and friendly. The prata was nice and well made. We enjoyed the curry that came with. Would want to give the noodles dish a try next time.

This is really bad. I told them I wanted thigh meat many times. Even the receipt mentioned thigh. And double checked and triple checked and checked and checked. They confirmed and confirmed and confirmed. I did this because they gave me wrong part before. In the end, they still gave me wing. What is wrong with such simple instructions??!

The place itself is so convenient, and they open early in the morning. I do enjoy their prata and teh tarik. Haven't tried other items on the menu, but I will definitely come back for these two options. Service is not bad.

I visited ABC Eating House in Tampines for the first time and tried out their Indian rojak from one of the Muslim food stalls. Five pieces of rojak cost $8.80, which felt a bit pricey, but the portions justified the cost with their generous size. The service experience had its ups and downs. After choosing my items, there was a noticeable delay - about 5 minutes - before I had to remind the stall owner that I wanted my order to go. Despite this, the staff was polite and helpful once engaged. As I opted for takeaway, I didn't spend much time soaking in the ambiance, but first impressions count: the place was spacious and noticeably cleaner than other local coffeeshops. For those craving Indian rojak in Tampines, ABC Eating House is a solid choice. Great food, decent service, and a clean environment make it worth a visit.
