Over-priced. This applies to all stores here, and all malay stores. Recently many malay stores are slammed with negative comments on how much they increased their prices taking advantage of inflation. Price increase is inevitable and understandable, but most malay stores here (include other places in Singapore) just anyhow increase like 20% to 2x and some even 3x. Unacceptable.

The name speak for itself Golden Rice coffee shop in the morning serving local Malay , Chinese, Indian prata ,mee rebus mee Siam and those banana fritters , sweet potato, tapioca cassava fried serve hot crispy. I would say this place is a very Local serving mouth watering spot if you miss that school canteen food those days. If I had a choice to compare this is an incarnation of Geylang serai ,Haig rd for the dish served to multi cultural and Religious believe we are Harmony.. Abstract below are food bought take away for breaking Fast at home.

As I am going down to imm, i search and found this place. Halal food served here, there are many kinds of food to choose from, they have deanna prawn noodle, weatern, chinese style food, stay, indian food and chicken rice. Place is located behind the carpark entrance under hdb block. 15 kins walk from jurong east mrt. Place is good for famililes to dine in and also those who are spoilt for choice of food to eat. I have tried the one at bedok and the one here at jurong is also good! Would come again anytime.

I have been patronising padi Emas jurong east branch many many times. I come here for the good food but it would be nice if the lady taking orders from the seafood stall smile. She never smile and talks to me as if I owe her something. Didn’t even look at my face when taking orders. And her tone of voice is like someone who wants to get it over and done with quickly. It’s the same attitude I get everytime. If she can smile to her working colleagues, it won’t hurt for her to smile for your customers. Pls train her about customer service. Btw she’s the one wearing the tudung. I have no problems with other staff. I don’t like it if she’s the one who takes my order.

Variety of 100% malay food to choose from. Price abit of inflation but overcome by good taste. Atmosphere can be improved with installation of fans or air con to draw customers.

A great Halal place to get your Zi Char foods. The place can accommodate about 50 to 80 pax. There's also side stalls selling Halal Prawn Noodles and Satay, and Indian foods. Highly recommended to get their Salted Egg prawn or Squid.

Only 1 issue... Be prepared to clear your own table after u are done... even when you are eating with 20 people. (Staff made a remark when ask to clear some plates to make way for other dishes & was told to clear the table when paying the bill. Unlike O² Cafe at Bukit Batok... when you order seafood for a big group... they will help you to clear the table after you are done. They even stop you from clearing the table. Same setting different level of service.

This hidden gem have heaps of delectable halal dishes to offer. As a full halal coffee shop, they have indian mee goreng, the famous prawn noodles, seafood, western food, chicken rice and authentic malay dishes. My all time favourite is the indian stall Subakani. Their Tulang Merah and mee gorengs are the bombs. Better tasting than some famous overrated stall.

This place is an underrated hidden gem on the west side. It may be overshadowed by the other Muslim eatery as it looks more trendy but the food here is just great. I've eaten here and also taken away food from here countless times. One of those old but gold places!
