Great innovation of the pizza flavors. Never had thought tuna pizza can be that tasty. It has mayonnaise and mustard inside. Also the CREAM CLAMS, wow, I almost want to lick the plates. So nice and fresh. The only thing is the drink price a bit too high lah. But they do serve water and the service is very nice. Very happy dining experience.

Overall food quality was ok. The pizza was great. The staffs was kind to offer warm water without asking. I would only order pizza if I happen to come back again.

Paid $70 for this inclusive of GST and service charge. The flavours were subtle, not overpowering nor contradicting. However for the price I paid, the serving was rather small. The pizza dough was airy and fluffy, its crusted and blistered, it was beautiful but the toppings wasn't really incredible to add on to flavour and value. I liked the mentaiko pasta with the fresh roe, only hoped portion could be a tad more. Overall I enjoyed my meal, there wasn't a hint of regret for "trying" but I wouldn't say id come back. -🌟 for price -🌟 for portion

The pasta was disappointing. It was overcooked and pretty bland. However, the pepperoni pizza saved the experience. The crust was light and fluffy and the cheese was warm and stringy. Food didn’t justify the price unfortunately. Service was great nonetheless!

Went in Feb, on weekday for late lunch. Not crowded only 2-3 tables occupied as late lunch timing. However one of the staff kept playing with phone although just standing right beside me. Ended up serving the food of another table to me but with my mask off as I was having appetiser and drink. Heard other customer telling staff she will reject food due to covid and my mask was off when served to me. Other than that food was pretty acceptable. Pizza portion was huge just look at the photo with the karaage. Salmon baked rice was acceptable. Love the salad that came with lunch set though. Very appetising (pretty 开胃). Location - Inside Jem, 2 mins or so walk from Jurong East train station. Convenient! Shuttled too😃 Food - Pizza was delicious, by then I was too full for Salmon baked rice 🤣 Price - Acceptable for lunch. Pizza was $20+ but huge (no lunch set for this) Service - Acceptable but room for improvement

The food here is really really good and worth the price. I ordered the tuna and avocado baked rice, as well as the teriyaki chicken baked rice. Both were delicious, with generous portions of tuna and meat. The rice was not dry as there was sufficient tomato based sauces inside the hot baked cheese on top of everything. There was also crispy gyoza skin sprinkled on top, which was a refreshing take on Japanese-western cuisine. As soon as we sat down the waiter was served us two cups of iced water and provided us a QR code to order from. It was very good service and convenient to order from. The atmosphere was also great, because the decoration and lighting was well done. The seating area for two people felt a little cramped as it was in the middle of the restaurant and felt a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a great place to visit and I recommend it for anyone seeking new food to try in Singapore.

Pizza taste wise are ok but the Unusual Pizza offerings: Gyudon Pizza was pretty soggy as a result of the gyudon sauce used, Takoyaki Pizza could have just been Takoyaki (Pizza base did not value-add). For both Pizzas, nothing really sticks to the Pizza bread base - gyodon was pretty saucy causing soggyness and takoyaki balls were just resting on the pizza without anything to secure it down. HOWEVER, the Salmon Baked rice was good. Will not recommend the Seafood Tomato Cream pasta as it is below average, did not taste much neither seafood, tomato nor cream. Salad is salad, their house variant includes pumpkin and mushroom. The dressing is balsamic.

Interesting pizza selection. We had the takoyaki pizza. The spaghetti is super well tossed and great to eat. It’s so good that we finished eating before I could take a picture. You can skip the baked rice though. Overall, it’s a good Italian Japanese feel with the unique pizza.

Quattro cheese pizza is good 👍 but I would not recommend the black vinegar chicken. The latter’s chicken karage was not crispy. They have many other pizzas in the menu which I havent tried so perhaps some might be good. Would come back to try the rest.

Pizzakaya failed on their flavours. Japanese Italian screams Miso/Ikura/Wasabi/mentaiko/Teriyaki or anything that screams kawaii. I don’t see it here. I don’t understand how they got a 4.4 star review. In terms of theme, Japanese Italian fusion food is a fail as I don’t see much Japanese flavours. I’m pretty certain Japanese don’t use truffle as their flavours. Likewise, a Korean Italian fusion then we should see kimchi/gochujang or if it’s Thai Italian then maybe tomyum/lemongrass. Flavours aside, the pizza came at room temperature although the chicken on top was hot. And their pizza is more like sour dough hence it’s very chewy/tough when it’s not hot making it unenjoyable to eat. Pizza didn’t have cheese if it had, it’s probably too little to taste or notice. Truffle mushroom baked rice; rice was garlic flavoured and if it’s Japanese themed, then shouldn’t it be (also) served with cream or tomato? least that was what I had in Japan. This meal was about $49+ , certainly not worth hence will not recommend. Anyway my husband didn’t even know it’s japanese themed even after we left the restaurant 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Food quality is good, however, the quantity is too little for the price. The pizza is smaller than the spoon! Definitely unable to make one full! Only the truffle fries is worth it! Water is also free and refillable here.

Don’t know how this pizza place is Japanese… like the Japanese element isn’t japanesing. The pizza is so… soft??? It’s not firm. Like it’s hard to hold it without it being all flimsy. But the taste is there lah. It’s affordable so it’s good. Would go there again!

Pizzakaya at JEM is located at Level 1. It is a relatively big place with at least or more than 12 tables of 4 (tables are movable to accommodate larger groups of people). Takoyaki pizza is highly recommended. The filling of the takoyaki is octopus and the takoyaki is freshly made. The pizza looked hand-tossed and quite aesthetically (non-conventional) pleasing. Don't mind returning:)
