I ordered a sardin murtabak in the late morning after the breakfast rush and before the lunch rush. It was made to order and took about 7-8min. It was well presented in 4 triangle quarters plated with a bowl of rich curry. The sardin was salty and flavorful, with plenty of chopped bits of onion, but overall it was a bit thin and flimsy. The outside was flat top grilled to a crisp, but the thinness and sparce filling left a void of missing pillowy softness, plumpness and texture. The flavor was good, but it never achieved the desired mouthful of richness that I've become accustomed to. I far prefer any of the murtabaks down near Arab street; twice as full/big for 25% less cost = roughly triple the value and satisfaction.

Coffeeshop packed. Prata was cold. Curry not bad. Have to wait a while for Fried Mee. Fired Mee taste average.

Large servings are always a good thing for me. Food was good. A bit on the pricey side.

Made the grave mistake of visiting this hell hole! Just one word, AVOID!! This place is fooling a lot of Desi crowd -- sad part is due to this crowd and their tactical location others come as well. Here is the fun part, it's neither Indian cuisine, nor Thai or Singaporean! Not even god knows what are these guys cooking. Regardless of what you order the taste is stale and bland. To add to the misery the place isn't cheap at all, it's pretty aggressively priced considering the quality of the food. To make the matters even worse the waiters at the place and the cashier are so much rude. They literally slam plates on your table and have the audacity to shout! Please avoid at any cost, not worth even if it was at half the price

Very traditional Indian place where to eat and drink their typical food: you can find every kind of Prata and tea and coffe very tasty.

The dosa was good. But, not the Bee Hoon. The milk tea was awesome. But, it was a bit sweet for me. I should have asked to make it less sweeter.

At Al Bidayah, I tried their onion and egg prata. While I wouldn't describe it as exceptional, the restaurant's late-night hours make it a convenient spot for satisfying late-night Indian food cravings. However, it's worth noting that the surrounding cleanliness could be improved.

I don't know what the dish I got was called but was like a sweet gravy over tandoori chicken I got two pieces of ghee dosai which is gluten free, made from fermented rice and black lentils. It comes with it's own sauce and soup. All told this was too much food for me but probably matched a typical American portion size Was 17 S$ including a lime ice tea that I asked to be less sweet and actually was. Great place and chill atmosphere but low end. It's basically an open air cafetería and mostly men, but totally worth it

Prata was not the best. Drink was nice. But i ordered the most expensive in my meal was a butter chicken. It’s $7… I’m going to be honest, i told the guy it was dry, and sour(like smelly taste). I wasnt expecting not to pay really. Told my feedback to them, they seem to not really care. I asked for discount as I took 1 bite only. It wasnt even freshly made batch. In UK the indian food are all freshly cooked, the best indian food only in UK. Even their own land losses. I ate enough to know what’s good. Experience was bad, not gonna come anymore. Recommend anyone if wanna go, i would say serangoon garden has the best indian cuisine.

Not the best prata i had but taste quite nice, curry is mild and not too strong. This place has a good service, staff is attentive.
