Visited 28 MCC Nasi Ayam at Joo Chiat and ordered two chicken rice sets, each with vegetables and wanton noodles on the side. The meal was surprisingly affordable – great value for what we got. The place was particularly crowded, likely due to the upcoming Ramadan period, but we were fortunate enough to get a table without too long a wait. The food itself was delicious, with well-prepared chicken and flavorful rice. Portion sizes were generous and more than enough to satisfy our hunger. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area looking for good quality chicken rice at a reasonable price.

Ordered a duck noodle with additional chicken $8.50 Noodle is cooked al Dante and the chili on the noodle is very nice and complement well with the duck However the chili provided for customer to collect is the normal chicken rice chili The duck is above average but the chicken is too dry.

My wife told me that the Old food court at Joo Chiat Complex had rebranded to Chew n Chat. We popped down to try a few times and without a doubt had the best Chicken Rice from this stall. This has gone straight to my #1 Chicken Rice in Singapore. The meat is so tender and the Rice is perfect. Freshly prepared in front of you by 2 very friendly staff. Have been back several times and likely many more times in the future
