Their tarts are pretty good we all know that. But how’s their soft serve? Not so good apparently. Soft serve should be creamy smooth, not icy inside. Any soft serve ice cream that has an icy crunchy feel is a fail. Taste alright though. What a waste.

This was the first time I had the Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts, Original Flavored. If not for their 6th Anniversary 1 for 1 Promotion, I most probably will not have the opportunity to enjoy the tart. They were absolutely Scrumptious!!!! My strong yearning for the baked cheese tart started after I saw the creamy yummy cheese flowing out of the half-eaten tart by my colleague. When I bought a box of 6 baked cheese tarts, after treating my colleagues, I unwittingly devoured the remainder 3 cheese tarts in less than 5 mins, and I was in heaven! It was fabulous! As you can see from the photo, all the original flavored Hakkaido Baked Cheese Tarts were sold & gone, all boxed up waiting for their buyers to collect. Yum yum yumz!!! Will definitely come back again!!! 👏👍💪😋🤗

Passed by this shop many times, tarts looked so plain and “expensive” at $3.20 and up each. Yesterday 8/9/2022, after hearing a number of people say that’s it’s good, it was my first time trying the cheese tart, and I asked myself, why did I take so long to try it? To me and my husband, it’s the best extraordinary tart that we have eaten. You can either eat it warm (microwave) or straight from the fridge. When eaten warm, the cheese flows out like half lava cake, if eaten cold, it’s more like the usual tart sold everywhere. Fresh and yummy. Expensive? Well worth it because you can tell good ingredients were used and they baked with lots of love. I will try the next popular chocolate next round. When we were there, the staff were all busy (due to 1 for 1) but polite. While queuing, one male staff with a silver cross pendent came to check on the queue and saw a senior lady. He quickly ushered her to get her tarts first instead of letting her line up. Kudos. Well brought up young gentleman!!! We bought a few boxes to give away to friends to let them try such yummy treat.

Unpleasant buying experience. Auntie with spec manning the cashier spoke to a guy customer so sweetly and nicely and recommend to mix and match. But she kept talking down on my order with harsh tone. The biasness was apparent and felt. I ordered 10 tarts and coz of the promo entitle to 2 free. But she misheard and loudly say only 1 free as if I am a freeloader of sorts. Ordered 2 each of 5 flavors and specifically said for the free tarts 1 choc and original. Again misheard and leaving the durian flavor out. Selective customer service. Dear Auntie, how u talk to the guy customer was a good example of good customer service and should be extended to ALL customers. Not handsome young man only.

Had tried the cheese tarts from the same brand while in Japan and they were outstanding. However, what I was craving in this visit was the Hokkaido soft serve. I would say that I’m a bit disappointed and probably scarred for life after having the Cremia and Milkcream Hokkaido milk soft serve ice-cream in Japan. I’ve been comparing all the places in Singapore to it and nothing even comes close. My search will continue in future because even this place doesn’t come anywhere close to it. I’ll probably try out the cheese-tarts here but not the soft serve for sure.

Whenever i have cravings for the hokkaido baked cheese tart i always buy it at Parkway Parade branch. Tonight i had “the craving” and decided to order from a third party. Terrible mistake i ask to deliver the item to my old address. Thankfully, Jess (from Hokkaido Parkway Parade) is so kind to attend to me, recommended a solution to my dilemma and help me do the changes. It was indeed an extra mile service :)

I wanted two boxes (6x2) original tarts but they only have three with a fresh tray just out of the oven. I was told to wait for 5 minutes to let them cool a bit. 5 becomes 10 minutes. I finally go 12 tarts packed into two boxes n put into a single plastic bag. I asked for another bag but was told I need to pay 10 cents extra !! I told Calvin I needed the bag for presenting them as gifts to different parties. He still insist I pay the 10 cents. After my persistent reasoning with him that he finally decided to hand over the extra bag. 10 cents us nothing as I just paid more than $30 for the purchase. Customer service need to look into this.

Love their cheese tarts. Took a set of 5+1. Served fresh, and at times they have new flavours. Went for 1 each of chocolate, brownie, durian, blueberry, almond chocolate and salted caramel. Can store in the fridge for 3 days and reheat only for 20-30 seconds in the microwave before eating them. Durian is an all-time favourite followed by chocolate.

Love the cheese tarts here. Cheese filling is adequately creamy and satisfying without being overtly sweet. Crust is not too oily and buttery. Tarts can also be kept for long time in fridge and eaten chilled or microwaved. Good and prompt service. Highly recommended.
