Ordered the beef horfun for takeaway. Upon reaching home I realised the kway teow was fried till crispy. Certainly doesn't look like kway teow. It was hard and the kway teow was sticking like clumps. The gravy was pure rubbish. It certainly doesn't taste like horfun. After adding the kway teow and the gravy, it looks disgusting. Such a waste of money. It shows how lazy this people are. Avoid going to this shop as your money will be wasted. And to the shop owners, please consider shutting down your shop if you don't even take pride in cooking. Alsalam don't even deserve 1 star.

Had pratas for breakfast yesterday. I have tried the kosong and egg prata. Not to my liking though (too little oil in my prata)... if you like healthy pratas, you will love them. The curry gravy is also not to my liking. I ordered mutton curry as i did not like the sourly taste of fish curry. They gave me dhal curry and insisted that they gave me mutton curry 🤔🙄.. I did not finish my plate of prata. I will never patronise them again. .

My daughter went to A&E on 25th May 2022 after drinking a glass of lychee ice tea from this restaurant. The whole incident was witnessed by all the customers that night. There was a splinter from the Satay Stick that was stuck inside my daughter's throat while she was drinking. Luckily it was stuck in her throat and not some other organs that could cause bigger issues. She went back to look for the boss hoping to let the boss know of the incident so that the staff can be more careful. However, might be the staff didn't want to alert the boss thus she didn't get to see the boss even after 3 attempts. So I hope the boss from Alsalam Blk 801 can contact me so that u will know what had happened. And u might want to change to a long spoon instead of using Satay Stick that can be hazardous. And u have to let ur staff know the importance of food safety in Sgp F&B industry. And to inform u of any important matters and not to take any matters in their own hands which they will not be able to bear the consequences.

I ordered the chicken murtabak ($8) at around 4am. The portion is generous: in the photo attached, there are actually two layers of murtabak stacked on top of each other. There's a lot of filling within the murtabak too. However, the taste is a bit lacking. The chicken and onion center is dry and unflavored. There's nothing really outstanding about the accompanying curry gravy. Overall, if it's late out and nothing around you is open, this is an okay place. But I wouldn't really recommend it over other supper spots.

Roti prata was good. Crispy and not oily at all. But pity their choice of curry to go with the prata is limited

My favourite place for Thosai. Their prata is ok, but masala thosai is excellent. The filling is full and somehow a colour contrast with the dark thosai. Comes with three types of sauces, the dhal, the white coconut sauce and the orange spicy sauce. I think they probably have one of the best sauces for thosai! Great to pair it with ginger tea (must order less sweet!)

Chicken mee goreng tasted good but it's pricier than the food court. The place is quite warm due to poor ventilation.

Ordered 2 kosong prata only to realize cost went up from $2.40 to $2.60... Felt the prata was left out in the open for 15 mins or so coz it wasn't hot or crispy...

Food is tasty I ordered chciken muratbak and they brought mutton murtabak. Didn't wanted to be very fussy, so I took it. I was telling my friend maybe they want to let go off old mutton, that's why they did it. My suspicion became a horror, when I had diarrhea that night. Won't recommend their food. Food infact is good, probably the hygiene and they using old food materials

My family always go to this Restaurant, it is one of our favourite place. My kids love their coin and cheese prata. While egg prata is the way to go for me. The place is not only famous for their prata but for their other foods also. Their Teh Tarik is one of the best in Singapore. But all of this won’t matter if the service is not par. Luckily the service is really really good. It’s one of the best we ever have the staff are all very friendly and nice. They will assist you and take care of you. I refer my friends to this restaurant and they all say the same thing it’s one of the best.
