This stall is located within a coffeeshop. As I don’t eat beef, I ordered Ayam penyat @ $7. It comes with chicken soup. The chicken looks small compared to other stalls. But it make up with its yummy tender crispy flavour. The 3 triangular fried tahu taste good too. If you like chilli, ask for more sambal, it’s superlicious & addictive !! The soup is not to my liking as it’s too rich for me.

Even we ordered take away, it is still damn good flavour on the chicken. Probably I eat it few hours later, the chicken is abit dry. But the chili I will give full marks. The spice level was just nice. The combination with chicken was superb. Will go back to eat again with freshly fried chicken.

Their Rawon is so authentic and tasty, and even much better than some hotels in Indonesia. The uncle was also sincerely attentive. Best authentic Indonesian food experience so far in Singapore.

I was fortunate enough to come across this shop during my break. It was a rainy day and I was craving something hot and soupy. Ordered myself a bowl of Beehoon Soto. To my surprise, the soup was fragrant and spicy. It costs $4 a bowl, though the serving may look small, but it's loaded with lots of chicken pieces. Definitely a must try if I'm around the area again. Stall opens daily from 11am to 9pm, closes on Sunday.

I was served a Sop Buntut by Batman today and it was heavenly. A taste of Indonesia that I miss very much. Owner is from Surabaya and his food is authentic. I will be back to try the rawon and other dishes. Cute little mementos of Batman adorn the hawker. Highly recommended.

The ayam penyet is hot & crispy good, especially with the sambal chilli. Comes with mee soto soup. 👍🏽

Oxtail is succulent n soup is flavourful. Tauhu crispy is so so.. but sambal is good. Price is on the higher side but w inflation it's ok for Singaporeans now.

This is the only place we could have our Rawon fix (not the malay style thick one, the original East Java style). The rawon soup is also available in oxtail variety. The sellers are very nice. Btw they moved recently to crawford lane, right behind ICA lavender.

Visited the place after a social media influencer recommended it. Honestly, Ayam Penyet President is way better. Chilli lacks the spiciness and punch that comes with Ayam Penyet which is a disappointment. The chicken is really dry which is a huge letdown. And the rice, is so dry and hard.... I honestly would give it a try once and not head back.

Fast service. They fry the chicken by order. Chicken feel fresh. The size also big for breast meat, not too dry also. Sambal is HOT. But they added small amount of sugar in their recipe, not my preference for Sambal Bawang type. I still can enjoy it. Soto soup? I think this is my first time found this combination. The soto alone is good. But I can’t enjoy it together with the spicy chicken tho. You may order extra rice to eat along with this soto if you want.
