The original restaurant, in operation since 1981. The building that they are in has been sold en bloc so they will not be around for long. Service is excellent and attentive, food is amazing. The sambal chilli is very spicy. They have 2 more outlets in Great world city and paragon. Listed in Michelin guide since it;s inception. Go and experience the Original ambience one last time.

Located in a corner of the old and somewhat forgotten Tanglin Shopping Centre, Tambuah Mas still serve good-tasting Indonesian food. Interior ambience has an old-world charm of a lost era. My wife and I ordered its popular Tahu Telur (beancurd deep-fried in egg batter), Rendang Lembu (stewed beef) and Sop Buntut Makassar (oxtail soup). Taste is good. Before the shopping centre closes for re-development, we plan to be back for a few more meals.

IMO one of the most delicious and authentic restaurants in Singapore serving hearty Indonesian cuisine. Go for the Tahur Telur (personal favourite), Ayam Goreng Istimewa, Rendang Lembu and Sayur Lodeh. Rice is refillable too!

Nice food. Rice is by headcount. You can choose plain white rice or yellow rice. Tahu telor is the one you can never miss. Cendol still not so bad, not too sweet.

all dishes are great except the fish head was so so. definitely would go back again. desserts are very nice too.
