For SGD 9.90 the portion is good. The place is next to the Heart Centre, so I think there should be a healthier option. Perhaps with wholemeal (with multi-grain) and salt should be less. Coffee was served cold and they didn't ask me if I wanted with milk/cream...So, somewhat disappointed! Coffee cup is very wide...a coffee mug will keep the coffee warmer!

Great location, nice staffs and clean environment. This coffee bean cafe is located in one of the biggest hospital in Singapore which is the NUH, providing a good place for both hospital worker and patients families to rest in. When you drop by here please don't forget to try their breakfast promo set 1 for 1 $10.90 which is super shiok and fresh all the time.

The coffee bean & tea leaf is a coffee shop which also serves desserts, pastry items and snacks. The ambience is good. Environment is clean and the coffee is great. Price is little high as this is singapore.

The dark chocolate ice-blended drink was perfect, but the most amazing thing was the behaviour of the crew. The lady behind the payment counter was really helpful and patient. The batista saw me clicking pics and he came by to add some chocolate syrup on top so that it looks good! Never seen such heart-warming behaviour in any other place before. Will definitely choose this over Starbucks in future.

Just got a cup of hazelnut Americano there. I need to wait for 5 mins till they attend to my order eventhough there is no queue. The staff prefer to tidy up the display till I approached and said I want to order. The counter table is very messy between fresh food/drinks and used plate. Very inattentive and disorganise.

A short hair lady with glasses was rude. When I asked for a cup of water she replied “no “ curtly. Had to ask another colleague of hers for a cup of water. Maybe she was on her period that day. Bad attitude

Quite disappointed with our experience at this coffee bean. I believe the lady that served us is name Diyanah. Throughout our time ordering with her and picking up our order, she was showing an attitude that was displeasing. Maybe try to put on a smile even if it is fake as you are working in the hospital where a lot of people's morales can be low and the least you can do as a front liner in the service line is to smile. Fyi, the place wasn't even crowded when we came in.

Service was terrible. I could say that this was jot the first time i met service staff from Coffee Bean with such bad attitude and service. The other one would be in railmall. I would boldly recommend Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to start their customer service campaign. Until i hear about any improvement, i will not patronise another cafe from this brand.

writing a review to say how absolutely disappointed i am to receive the worst service by the two lady baristas that was working when i came in. there was no acknowledgment at the counter as they just waited for me to inform them my order. did not even glanced up to look at me either. after ordering they only took my receipt, handed it to me. nothing said. the other barista just made the coffee, placed it on the table and didnt even inform me that the drink was ready. i had to ask her if this was my drink, and she gave a smug answer as her back was facing away from me. and as a continued to stare at her in disbelief of what she did, she realised and only monotonously ask me if i needed a paper bag. i understand that service industry can be tiring and tough, but when theres absolutely no human decency or kindness, then you would rethink if this is a suitable job for you. really bad attitudes, even worse when you are working within the healthcare facility and there needs to be extra patience when dealing with customers.

Comparative to Starbucks but there’s not much queue during peak hours. Atmosphere is like supermarket sometimes so loud so many chatters and seats are disoriented and sometimes not neatly put in place. Cakes are cut in an untidy fashion so sometimes you get a small bite portion missing from your cheese cake. Maybe it’s due to the discounts received. Beverages are piping hot so depending how u like your coffee but personally I prefer it piping hot so it will gradually cool down as I sip away as compared to Starbucks where the drinks are light hot so u can drink quickly if not you end up drinking cold coffee that taste bad. Not much shouting in the backend as Starbucks so service level is quite Prem and tidy.

It's always a great cafe for quick meals, but some are hoarding 4 seaters' tables instead of taking 2 seaters. Separating it to 2 seaters table for others to sit, drink, or eat will be a courteous gesture.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hallmark of any good Eggs Benedict is undoubtedly the runny egg, and Coffee Bean nailed it in this department. The perfectly runny egg yolk added a rich and indulgent touch to every bite, making it a true delight for brunch. The sauce, while flavorful, leaned a bit towards the salty side, particularly when combined with the ham. The freshness of the bread was a highlight, providing a soft and pillowy base that complemented the other elements of the dish remarkably well.

Paid $7.50 for a medium hot choc, take away. Menu board stated 'with marshmallows' but when I asked if marshmallows had been put in, the Indian male server said there are no marshmallows. REALLY??? And the price remains the same??? Why was this not conveyed earlier, at the moment of order & purchase? For fear of being viewed as misrepresentation, pls change the menu board, say upfront that there are no marshmallows or better still, give a small discount. Disappointing rip-off today!

I was at NUH the whole night till this morning. Came to have hot choc past midnight. It was really cold in the entire outlet. This morning had breakfast and was served by a cheerful and helpful counter staff, Yu Hui. As I had not a wink of sleep since yesterday, the politeness and the smile do help. Breakfast waffle was ok. But the room again, is too cold for comfort. The outlet is neat, tidy and cozy.

Was there in my first day of NUH, visited with good expectations and that just vanished within a minute with the two female staff's terrible, unprofessional, stupid behavior and approach! This unprofessional attitude is very rare here in Singapore, as I have seen! Customer service needs to be upgraded... Though I loved the food, and atmosphere is also ok, I will never visit this place here, for sure...

Absolutely the WORST Coffee Bean outlet that I’ve ever been in. The food portions would make a child crave for more. And the staff, oh my god…. While they weren’t rude, a morgue has more life than them. So surly! I mean, even if you hate your job, can’t you at least remind yourself that you’re doing something noble in serving people food? And when you pack something, have the sense to put it in the bag the right way up! Placing a sandwich vertically in a bag? Really??!

I felt racially attack by the contrast in service given. After receiving a bad service where there was a lot of slamming or trays, food and drink I took note of the attitude of the staff towards the customers that came after. Very different service for each race, man or woman doesn't matter. Working in One north this was the closest coffee bean after the one in holland close down and i wish this one was the one that closed down instead. Frequent customer, service was nothing fantastic but this was beyond worst.
