The queue is still long over meal times. Waiting time around 15mins. Upon seated down, browse through the menu and place order via the QR code on the table. Cashless payment while checking out. Cash payment has to be done over counter. The Gyu Don with cheesy egg must order. Kimchi with beef is also a refreshing choice. Could not comment on the fried karage with curry (s size) that my child had. Serving comes in various bowl servings. We had the M size except for our child, who had the S serving. Ample rice and ingredients are just right serving. Have various add on with side dishes with miso soup/drinks. Starting price $2 onwards. Food is served to table pretty quickly. Disposal chopsticks and preserved ginger self service at side table. Price of food inclusive of GST. No 10% service charge. The majority set meal is less than $10, excluding the expensive ones. They only unpleasant experience is the flies that are constantly flying around and even land on our food, so that's a turn-off. Hopefully, with this feedback, the management will look into the matter and take steps to improve on the hygiene of the store.

Food is not bad and is reasonably priced. The chicken is very soft and juicy but the egg was different from the photos in the food catalogue and was quite watery. Go for the combo set and you will get a miso soup/drink and a side dish karaage. I was there on a busy evening and have to queue outside.

Ordered the M size okra gyudon with dashi sauce — really liked it! Dashi sauce had a great sweet and umami balance. Beef slices were nicely seasoned and the sautéed onions added a nice flavour. Also ordered the spring onion and half-boiled egg gyudon. This was decent only, and the spring onions were slightly overwhelming. Service-wise, we were in a very long line but managed to be seated and served pretty quickly only because we were a party of 2, compared to the other larger groups.

Am not sure about the hygiene standards of this place. Tray was extremely wet and was served with this blue towel which looks like its used to clean the table. The tissues were wet and unusable. Didn't want to clean the tray with the dirty towel either. Evident of flies here even the customers next to me occasionally warded of some flies with their hands. Been to other sukiya outlets, first time having such service. When I was finishing my meal the same waiter came and collected the blue towel from my table and used it to clean the table on my right... 😮‍💨

No server guiding to the table so just look out any empty table for yourself. Ordering was seamless, all you need to do is to scan the QR code on your table and off you go. Serving time is within 5 minutes but the egg came overcooked. Was expecting an onsen egg with runny yolk but it was overdone. Overall food taste is just so-so.

We came here for dinner and were a group of 6. Price was reasonable, and the food was ok, but if to compare with Yoshinoya, we prefer Yoshinoya better. But overall, it was ok.

Very delicious beef bowls! Quality was consistent with that of Sukiya’s Funan Outlet. Green Veggies were stir-fried kangkong with minced garlic and the resulting aroma was simply irresistible if you’re a fan of garlic! Just couldn’t stop eating it! Had the Triple Cheese Gyudon (XM) and I must say that it went really well Tobasco Hot Sauce! Mix well, and the cheese melts and fuses with the rice to create a savoury load of goodness on every scoop! Seating capacity at the Sengkang Grand Mall outlet however, is on the smaller side, and there was a 30-40min wait on a Saturday (8pm), with 4-5 groups of diners ahead of us. The waiting area outside the restaurant is not air-conditioned so look out for that (will be hot during the day)!

Used to love visiting Sukiya at least once every two weeks. Was very excited about it opening here but I feel that the standard has been dropping. The amount of beef in the medium rice bowl has now decreased significantly as compared to when first opened. We did feedback to the server but he mentioned that it was by the kitchen and walked away. Quite disappointed and likely won’t visit as often anymore.

Had the new spicy karage rice bowl (XL at $12.50 no GST no service charge) - chicken was plentiful and crispy. The sauce is a little salty. Overall a decent and value for money meal for the quantity and quality, though I wish that there's less sauce and it's less salty.

What a joke.. this is a complete scam. I ordered a Large Sized Curry rice with Karaage for S$13.30 and this tiny bowl is not even half filled. I received only 3 pieces of small chicken plus a few spoons of rice. The overall portion is ridiculously small for a large sized order, and there were no other ingredients besides the chicken, rice and curry. Absolutely unacceptable standards, I will boycott.
