I bought this today, it tasted really good. Good price too, chilli sauce was free flow and not in packets so it's a good thing for me. Although I don't kind of know if the crumbs were meant to be that dark, or whether it's meant to be there in the first place. But overall, nice place, nice food. Cozy too, now food coma

Quiet.Usually not busy. Ample seats to seat so there's no issue for not able to find a seat. Usually 1 in the kitchen and 1 at the counter. (Usually served by a malay auntie, malay gal or a Filipino lady)The food are okay. But the Dory Fish is quite salty. I wonder if anyone feedback to them abt their fish being salty. Staffs manning the counter doesnt seem to be interested in serving customers. They seem to be in their own world=>looking at hp, singing songs etc.When it comes to customer services, it all depends on their mood. If they are happy, they will say "thank you" and even talk to u nicely. But if they are in a bad mood or dont wish to serve you, they will be showing faces and not even a courtesy gesture would be seen through them. Recently I bought from them and this is what I found at the end.Trace of hair. Man, totally disgusting.They shld do something abt the cleanliness and also the standards of their customer services. Im not gonna patronise their outlet again.

I dined in at West Coast Plaza Long John Silvers today. Ordered just Chicken Pesto Sandwich meal. Made my payment at 1051am and seated down at 1052am. Waited until 1106am then finally cashier called out for my order. Isnt this a fast food joint? Certainly doesnt live up to its name and worst of it all, im the only customer there. If the company couldnt find competent workers, should have fired them all. Its no wondet the outlet is empty all the time.

14 august2022 - 2pm . Kudos to the front of house and back of house . I had the laksa wrap and it’s better than I think . Thanks to the front of house for giving me extra tar tar sauce

Much smart. Goodest design. Bought grilled salmon rice. Firstly, the plastic bag is too narrow to hold the paper plate well enough, it'll most probably tilt and the sauce will leak because the plastic cover for the plate is not tight enough. Secondly, the paper plate couldn't even hold the sauce and it broke. Really smart, whoever decided that paper plate works for takeaways.

The service here is unfortunately very slow. Compared to the other fast food joints, their processes are lacking and they don't have a clear system of how to serve customers who have already ordered and are waiting for their food.

RUDE. When we was standing at the counter, the chinese lady at cashier pretended not to see us as if we are invisible, turn her back and continue with her thing. I came a few time here with my friend during weekday for BF, usually is a Indian tall guy or a Malay lady attend the counter. Auntie in the kitchen was kind too, will smile if she saw us. Other cashier will greet and ask for our order in a welcoming tone. They will apologise & serve the food to my table when my order was once delayed during BF. BUT not for this lady. The way she took our order SUCK too. Today decided to bring my wife and kids along before they head off to class, waited so long until my children must wait outside to see if food ready. End up not eating. No one force to work, not happy can stay at home. Before we stepped our foot into this restaurant already seems like not being welcome. Ordered was not called, no initiative to check. Not being apologetic at all. Waited almost 20over min. Spoil my saturday morning! Will not be back during weekend. I don't write any review, but this was exception given this attitude.

Day started really bad but because I was looking forward to the breakfast from Long John and it didn't disappoint! The cashier lady made it an even awesome experience as she is nice and patient because I also changed the order last minute and she was willingly changed without giving any attitude which really made my morning better. The food was really good and the cashier lady tie everything together to make this place a wonderful dining experience. We need more people like her. I will came again often.

Today I ordered 2 sets of 2 dory set for takeaway and oddly I got my order almost immediately even though another person had ordered first. At first I didn’t think too much about but when I got home, the both sets tasted cold. My house is only a 10 minute drive away and I ate the fish immediately upon reaching home. My guess is that someone might have ordered wrongly and they just left if there for the next customer who ordered it, which happened to be me. Very disappointed as I am a frequent customer there with my family, never thought they’d give us this kind of low quality service :(

Latest update: Made my order via Foodpanda. Went to self pick up and to my surprise,nobody seems to know abt the order. After checking, they start to prepare the order. I waited again. I suppose to pick up my order at 307pm. End up, I only got my food at 340pm. Not a single apology from them.Pretend like nothing happen. Im not like some customers who will kick up a fuss on the spot but that doesnt mean they can take advantage of me. Didnt compensate me neither did they apologise to me. Horrible. The service at West Coast Plaza was slow as snail, we waited more than 25 mins for our takeaway! This is bringing “Fast” food to a whole new level! Malay guy cashier was slow and unfriendly, saw him dropping the freshly cooked food (in a box with holes) on the floor, he proceed to picked it up and gave it to the unsuspecting customer like nothing happened, that was utterly disgusting! The Indian lady preparing food had her mask pulled down to her chin the whole time while preparing food, isn’t proper mask wearing a MUST for food handlers? Her face was super poker the whole time, painfully slow motion and she just look annoyed and threw the food out like trash for the Malay guy to pass to the customers. The place was filthy too! Extremely unpleasant experience! LJS, please take care of your staffs’s well being and not make them this unhappy that they have to direct their unhappiness to their customers! Thank you!

-quite value I think, all this for 5.80 (+free clamchowder voucher from receipt). can be 5$ if instead of 2x chicken you get 1x fish -qc is nonexistent and perhaps depends on how the cook is feeling -waiting time severely varies

Didn't try the food here, the ultra slow service was enough to make me give up. After waiting 15 minutes, queue only moved by 2 persons during prime dinner time at 6.30, calculated that i would have to wait another 15 mins since there were another two people ahead. Would suggest that management take a closer look at how to make the process more efficient and to literally bring the "fast" back into fast food, unless LJS doesn't actually belong in the fast food category.... bit ridiculous in my opinion

There are not many fast-food restaurants that specialise in seafood, therefore catering to a market segment of seafood lovers. Long John Silver's has been improving their food quality over the years and they have managed to stay competitively among the fast-food restaurants. Their fish & chips were better than most typical Western stores, but it might lag a little behind those well-known seafood outlets. They offered healthy sides such as vegetables, corn, and rice meal as substitutes, or to balance out the ubiquitous fried platters. There are bad reviews regarding the customer service at the dining location, however, I did not face any disappointment having it delivered to me, to add on, the batter was still crispy!

The new rockfish is good for its price, definitely better than its Dory. However, this LHS branch does not have a proper ordering and collection system, and servers have to manually shout out the order nos for collection. Not customer friendly, but understandable considering the crowd here - or the lack thereof. Will consider eating the rockfish at other outlets.

UPDATE!! Came again and tacos not so great almost inedible - lots of batter no fish - so be wary as quality may differ from week to week. Will still come back as nice lady on service was happy to take feedback have left original review below for context Tacos at a fish and chip shop ! Great idea I say, About time I reviewed this place (West coast plaza) - top value and decent portions - not sure about the coffee tho - if they upgraded the machine would get an extra star- also shame they got rid of the grilled salmon as it was the cheapest in Singapore- very good service here and even with the mask on i can tell the assistant is smiling

Been taking away / ordered via Grab. Today is the first time dining here. Terrible service by the cashier today that glare at you for requesting upsize for the previous order. Damn rude. Nearly wanted to confront her. If the management is reading this, pls educate your staff! There’s also no proper collection system. We wanted to stand there wait but was chased to go back to our seats and wait for them to call. And ya, they simply shout the number then u go back to the cashier to collect the food. The food served especially the fries are cold and it seems it was cooked quite some time ago.. and the entrance is wet and slippery. They keep mopping that area when we were ordering the food till even when we are done eating and about to leave.. Conclusion: unlikely to dine in there again.
