I've only eaten at this joint and my review is for this outlet only. I had their set K. They really nail it for their chicken. Grilled chicken that's moist and juicy, but beware of the chili on it. The spiciness kicks in later... But it's so good you can't help but surrender yourself to it even when knowing it'll bite u later! And the staff, they are just.... HAPPY. The positive vibe from the crew just makes eating there a joy!

Ordered Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang for lunch. Also added a fish fillet because I am greedy! Haha! 😂 The chicken meat was so tender and it fall off the bone easily! But for someone like me with low tolerance to spice, the chilli was very spicy and I broke out in sweat after a few spoonfuls of it! 🔥🥵 Overall it’s really a good and tasty Nasi Lemak in Yishun so please consider to give it a try if you are here! 😋

Ordered Nasi Lemak Cabe Ijo. Cost $6.20. Potion is good, very filling. Chicken is good and tender, not dry but juicy.. The green chili sauce is good also comparable to 小辣 mala spicy level. Sambal chili is nice and sweet. Nasi Lemak taste fine good enough for me, egg was also nicely cooked. Only negative was the ikan billis that was overcooked. Other than that I will return to eat.

Their grilled chicken was nicely done with nice grille marks. Ordered the green chilli and Taliwang chicken, both spicy level a bit too low and fried chicken wings was marinated rather too salty. Pricing wise very reasonable and good attitude staffs.

Came here to try because famous. Price quite ex $6.50 for the famous nasi lemak ayam taliwang. Portion is ok. Taste is not exceptionally good, just above average but nothing fantastic. Chicken is kind of tough (not juicy and tender as reported). Takes a long time to queue and get the food. I don't think it's cos there are many people, they are just slow and somehow not that efficient even though they are well staffed

Update: Not consistent chicken was dry and doesn't have that grill char taste. But at least price is the cheapest ~~~~~~ Got their signature ayam taliwang lemak for $6.90. 10min from queue till seated. Godly : taste of chicken! You get the unique bbq char of chicken for this. While it might be on the dryer side but is still juicy. Pros : chili! Barely survived without drinks. Immediately went to find sugar cane after that. Was quite impressed that I survived. The spicy level piles up I guess. Egg white was more elegantly done, mostly smooth with no rough edges. Initially I thought the rice was too sticky but it was all well after mixing in the sambal chili. Cons : ikan bilis was pretty salty can cut it just some bit. Area for improvement : the chicken thigh is actually not the most tender. Not sure how since it is bbq but nevertheless they still comes off the bone easily just that you can feel in your tongue that the thigh is a the slightly tougher side akin to chicken breast. Question : why is this stated as LGBTQ friendly in Google map?

Even though the queue was long (some people order 8-10 packs), the orders were served quickly. The spice level was out of this world (15/10) for us, even though we are Peranakans. Thank goodness for the cucumber! The chicken is juicy and tender and had the lovely charcoal BBQ smokiness. The nasi was fragrant with just the right balance of coconut and lemongrass. The sweet sambal was a nice counterpoint to the spiciness. Egg was a little over cooked today as the yolk was not runny. Definitely will order again! Thank you!

Food was amazing. I had the Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang, and I ate every last bite down to the very last grain of rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and was complimented by the taliwang sauce perfectly. It was an excellent ballance of spicy, sweet and sour. The fried egg had a pleasant runny yolk that added to the coconut rice and when combined with the chicken, taliwang, peanuts and salted anchovies, it really made a perfect bite.

Asked for the spiciest one on the menu and was recommended this. Everything from coconut rice to chicken was cooked perfectly but it just wasn't spicy enough. I was expecting it to be really spicy like the ones I had in Bali or at least like Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut at westgate shopping centre. Even the chilli sauces from the thai stall in this hawker centre was more spicy than this.

Disappointed totally - ordered number 10. But food is ready within 2-3 mins - maybr it’s microwave or something… chilli is not flavorful. Rice has No coconut flavor. Chicken thigh meat was tough. Will skip it in future - not worth the price. Looks good but don’t taste anywhere near the standard of the famous Chong Pang Nasi lemak

Ordered their signature Nasi Ayam Taliwang ($6.90). Rice was fragrant and chicken was tender. The seasoning could be improved as there is no taste when eating without the skin. Rated as 1 star as I found some pieces of plastic in the meal. Hygeine is essential when it comes to food preparation. More quality control in what goes into the food would be appreciated.

I am a Regular customer. This morning I ordered 2 packets of Nasi Lemak. No 11 & 12 from Yishun Park Hawker Centre. After waiting for more tha 30 minutes, I approached the counter staff why so many customers who came after me have their food served. The female staff apologized and said she will follow up my order. After waiting for few more minutes I approached another male Counter staff to check my Order since they missed earlier. His reply was very very rude and arrogant. “You want to wait wait. Cannot wait we can refund you. I told him your attitude is very rude and arrogant. I will give a very bad review. Immediately I asked for a refund. He challenged me and said please go ahead. When the Stall started the lady Boss was humble and putting up a smile. Now they have become so arrogant because business is good. Serving so many Customers after me yet when I asked politely the staff is so rude. Immediately I went to another stall Ayu Indonesian Cuisine. The service was good and I got my food in 10 minutes. The food was good 👍

Food is good. Chicken is tender and delicious. Rice is fragrant. Sambal has kick and cucumber is crisp. But service here is a madhouse with a anxious male staff raising his voice over his mask which I had difficulty making out what he was saying. It will be good if they also implement a remote beeper device to inform customers to collect rather than having to call out to customers for their queue numbers as it makes the atmosphere rather tense and stressful. Stall closes early and they take last order around 7.15pm though technically based on official hours on google map, they can close at 7pm.

For a michellin guide recipient back to back, Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang Yishun outlet is not as outstanding as I thought it would be, hence a 4 stars. I have to be universal when it comes to rating Nasi Lemak. You would get better version elsewhere esp in Malaysia, and they're not even on big red book list. However, the overall taste is just perfect. The chicken is well marinated and the crews are well trained esp the lady who command the whole kitchen. The facility is excellent too given it's just a hawker center with good sanitary washing facility.

Friendly and pleasant staff that served us. We had a good conversation with the staff there. In my personal opinion, this is the best tasting nasi lemak I've ever tasted. The rice, and sambal is well balanced! That's what makes nasi lemak great. Menurut saya...

I'm quite sure this place just got renovated and price went up but I got no complains for that since that was an absolute BANGER of a Nasi Lemak. Rice was fragrant with the hint of coconut and egg was cooked well even though I ordered for take out. The chicken and chilli THOUGH!!!🔥🔥. Mmm I would say that my spice tolerance is not very high but I enjoyed this chilli since the sweetness it had gave a nice touch to a very tender chicken(literally crumbles at the touch of it). I would definitely recommend you guys to try out their signature Taliwang ($7.30) or the chicken wing set as I heard the chicken is marinated with 16 different herbs! Good recommendation from Zermatt Neo and this will definitely be my go to meal from now on
