Had lunch there with 2 buddies. We enjoyed it and intend to come back! The briyani rice cooked in bamboo was flavorful and not oily. Serving size can easily feed 2 adults or 3 small eaters. I like that they serve the dishes hot and steaming! And the dishes keep the warm in the bowls they use. 👍 that’s the way it should be. Service was good till the place got a little crowded.

The food is good. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Service is good from most of the staff. One or two staff didn't seem to be as good with their service, so it depends on your luck. The restaurant plays music through a television set that is connected to YouTube. The choice if music is pretty good but the sound / noise is a bit annoying because the quality of the tv speakers are not the best.

Extremely unhappy to write this review given that this restaurant seems highly rated on google. However, I came here with 2 other friends and we all ended up having diarrhoea for an entire next day. The only common item we has was the briyani and fried cauliflower so it could be one of these item. Perhaps they have to look into the cleanliness of the kitchen or the preparation method. Highly unacceptable for a food establishment to serve food that is unhygienic.

Kerala style food. Veg Briyani and Mutton dum Briyani were so flavorful, the Naan was so soft. The butter chicken was so creamy and tasty. I can't wait to go again! Customer service is amazing! I have always had service with a smile here! The waiters are so cheerful! ❤️ ***Might wanna reserve a table for weekends and public holidays to avoid disappointment. I usually call in!

Had dinner with my family, my kids loved the food, good taste and more options only thing we got disappointed is the bamboo Briyani which was not as expected, other than that everything was fine, friendly staff and good service. There's an option for us to sit on the floor and dine we all enjoyed food by sitting on the floor which we felt relaxed.

Bamboo biryani a little too moist for my liking but the spice was unique making it acceptable. Beef roast turned out surprisingly well, moist and tender. Note that portions are fit for 2 rather than individual. Overall, not too bad. Worth the visit.

Service was just as excellent as the food. Staff made many helpful recommendations and checked to give suggestions on how to pair the dishes we've ordered. The beef roast was a real highlight, great flavours balanced by the mild acidity of the tomatoes. As per the staff suggestion, we had it with their fluffy parotta (refreshingly softer and chewier than SG's South Indian Prata). What an excellent bite of food! Mutton Malabar Dum Biryani was excellent as well. There's more food to describe but let's cut this short with "I'll definitely be back".

Great find. Food is flavourful - butter chicken had just the right amount of spices, not too creamy/jelak like in other restaurants, which is good. Mutton biryani is fragrant and the mutton is tender and soft. Overall great food and good service. Will patronise again in future 👍🏼

Very environment with background music to accompany our family dinner. Ordered mutton soup, chicken bamboo short rice, mixed masala veg, chilled ginger lime and hot almond drink. Thumbs up.

We like the bamboo mutton briyani, chicken kizhi parotta, Kerela parotta with chicken roast, chicken cone, chicken 65. Taste is very good. 👍👌🏻

Dishes were all good, gave more than enough quantity when compared to other restaurants. Packed well and delivered to home on time. Will order again to eat authentic Kerala cuisine.

1st visit here, yummy food and nice service by Yaser. Recommended and will be back. The fish was well grilled w nice spices gravy. Each main dish & side dish has a distinct taste, unlike most conventional stalls/shops. Only negative was the kerala tea are a tad small cup. Please maintain the food quality & service standard.

First time here and enjoyed all the dishes. Had 3 kinds of briyani - (malabar) chicken, mutton, beef. Had the fish, prawn, gobi manchurian, lamb shank, paneer butter masala. We had the banana fritter which was nice and naturally sweet, fluffy Prata and apam. Ended off w brewed coffee, ginger tea, almond milk as well as fruits w vanilla ice cream. Rice was moist and the dishes were flavorful. Not overpoweringly spicy. Service was good - friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, cleanliness, and good service make this the best Kerala restaurant in SG. We've come here many times, and the food rarely disappoints. The Malabar biryani stands out on their menu. I would recommend trying the Beef Kizhi Porotta and Malabar Dum Biryani here.

Super friendly and accomodating staff. Very happy to share their culture and food. Food is fantastic. Super highly recommend the Kerala pooratha. Difficult to go back to lousy prata after having it. Super light and fluffy. Biryani is super flavourful and rice is very light and fluffy. Come and give it a try, definitely will not regret.

Impressed with the food and service 💯 loved the bamboo briyani it’s super moist, tender mutton with just right amount of spice. The condiments (yogurt and acar) + papadum was fresh and pairs perfectly too. Tried the butter chicken and naan, and it’s so good also! The welcome drink was great and refreshing. Thank you for the warm and respectful service. Wanted to try more from the menu but our stomach has limits 😂😂😂 oh and the portions are generous. In short, really worth the price for the quality of food and service rendered. the menu looks so good too, will drop by again to try other dishes!

Decided to try this place after seeing the generally excellent reviews. No regrets - everything we had was delicious! Standouts for me were: - Paal kappa - mashed tapioca cooked with plenty of spices and dried chillis. Staff urged us to pair it with a prawn or fish curry but we demurred as we had already ordered a fair bit. In any case, it was delicious by itself - smooth, creamy and redolent with the fragrance of coconut cream and tempered spices, with chunks of tapioca for textural contrast. Kerala’s answer to mashed potatoes. - Bamboo mutton biryani - get this with Jeera (as opposed to Basmati) rice, as the shorter-grain rice absorbs the flavour of the mutton pieces really well. The mutton chunks were tender and generous as well. - Carrot halwa - my favourite Indian dessert, and not easy to find a good one. This was perhaps the best rendition I’ve tried in Singapore, with plenty of shredded carrots, toasted cashews and golden raisins mixed into the semolina base and flavoured strongly with cardamom. Lovely! Service was quick and very personable and the interior was very well-maintained and clean. Only gripe was the toilet and the corridor leading up to it, which was rather wet. All in all, a very good option whenever I’m craving Indian food (also love how they have beef since they specialise in Kerala cuisine). The bill came up to slightly under $70 for two people, which I thought was an excellent deal for the quality and quantity of the food that we had. Intend to revisit again for sure, and would love to have the kizhi parotta on my next visit!

The staff are well versed in English and well versed of the menu where it came from and what ingredients so we know what to expect being a non Indian customers. We are very interested in Kerala food after recommended by a Kerala tourist in Singapore. So your waiter recommended The Mind Blowing delicious Fish Pollichathu, Malabar Mutton Dum Briani, Vegetable Stew and Appam. Fresh Lime juice is the perfect drinks for this scrumptious dinner : ) Will definitely come back again especially looking forward for their lunch promo on Tuesday and Thursday 4pm to 10pm (drooling lol)

This place is a little over hyped based on google reviews . I went there for lunch and these were the observations 1. There is no salan / gravy provided with the dum Biriyani . It felt very bland 2. Salt was very less in the Biriyani and I had to ask for salt to enhance the taste . Being Malabar it wasn’t spicy at all expected however it felt very very ordinary home made pulao 3. The price for a basmati rice Biriyani is less than the ordinary seeraga / short grain rice which is strange to me as basmati rice is more expensive 4. Service was okay . Nothing standing out Unless you happen to be in the ulu corner of sembawang give this is a miss as among the hundreds of restaurants servicing Biriyani I have tried this rank lowest. And this is coming from a person who has had a good Malabar Biriyani : even the thalassery Biriyani which is far better .
