Came back to try again and was disgusted by the inconsistency of the snacks. Super oily and soggy. Disappointing. Previously… How amazing can these tiny bite sized Epoks with measly fillings be? I was surprised that they were very tasty and addictive. Both sardine and potato also shiok. And wow the carrot cake sticks and yam sticks are damn shiok! I’m saying this is better than Swee Choon’s. Can easily be a fav. I sincerely hope they are consistent. This corner should stand on its own. Not sure about the other stuff but I’ll be back just for these.

The Chinese lady staff serving the Mee Soto was extremely rude and lack customer service. A few weeks ago, I ordered Mee Soto, it came with chicken feet. I complained but she was yelling and suggested that I can simply dispose it off. What about the compensation for the loss of shredded chicken? The management should discipline staff for not providing good customer service and positive working attitudes that will tarnish the image of the establishment.

Yesterday, at lunch time, I was queing to buy mee soto at U-Taste. I was being served by this rude Chinese lady when I presented my clean container for take away. She yelled sarcastically at me in the presence of other customers that she is serving halal food and my container is not halal. 1. Did she check to see that the container was washed clean before given to her? 2. Was she halal certified for serving halal food. 3. Many a time, I was being served by muslims, halal certified stalls elsewhere without any rejection or fuss when using my own containers for take aways. Feeling embarrased, I left to patronise food from other establishment. The management should seriously look into this matter and discipline or terminate staffs with bad attitudes and poor customer services.

U-taste Drinks seller washed the sink did not washed hands and proceed on making a tea for me..I had diarrhoea 8 times after the incident . I had reported to SFA with regards to hygiene issues. I went there on 02/10/22 @ 2030hrs. Was served by the young foreign guy.

Order the Nasi Padang and paid $8.50 for cold chicken and veges. Cannot understand why it’s just 11:30am and yet the food was already cold, the chicken was hard and oily due to the chilli. Atmosphere is hot n cramp Food 2/5 Service 3/5 Atmosphere 2/5

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. No frills and reasonably priced local favourites. One can get a plate of the $2/- chicken rice here. A little warm on hot days, however, the place is well equipped with many wall-mounted electric fans.

Totally upset…. Im station staff working in DTL station at Tampines. Due to HA, we pack makan back to eat. Visit U-taste this morning, 22/07 @ 910am, wanted to packet Mee Robus, requested not to put plastic container, just put in plastic, as my station is closeby, plus can help the environment. The malay auntie who prepared the Mee Robus insist that i took the plastic container if not she dont know how to prepared. To myself, WTH, why must she insist customer to use plastic container? Is it the U-taste company instructions? Plus, the container is charge for 20cents. Is not about the charging part, is why i cant packet my food using plastic?
