Been around for years now, the go to for many looking for Indian cuisine. ⏰ they have a signage stating it will take 20-30 minutes during peak hours, and we gotten our food 10 minutes in at around 7pm on a weekend Food was good, prata was fluffy the way I like, with a tinge of crispness at different bits - curry was generous too, spicy enough but not too overpowering or powdery. Definitely use the $0.50 vouchers from shopee to enjoy better value off your meal! 👍🏻

5 stars for food, 3 stars for service. Came early to avoid lunch crowd. Turns out, the briyani rice wasn't ready at 1130. Whole outlet only manned by 3 staff... Clearly shorthanded (be it intentional or not). Eventually bought our meals. Briyani rice was really nice. Good fragrance, not overcooked. Bombay fish curry, butter chicken both super tasty and very nicely done. Pratas were very tasty indeed. Due to the eventual long queue, missed out trying their teh tarik/masala teh.

1st visit. Q #093 means I m not d 1st customer. Ordered 6 kosong prata, 1 fried chicken drumstick n 1 teh tarik. Only teh tarik is 4*: lukewarm n less sweet. Kosong pratas r thin n small, n they appear "dead". I usually eat 2 kosong prata for breakfast. These 2 fr Prata Wala cannot fill me up. All 6 pratas r also cold (not even warm). Fried chicken is slightly warm on d surface. When I cut it open, d flesh is red n d bone is raw. I return it to d counter. Cashier readily offers an exchange: How abt butter chicken? Or another pcs? Price difference is $2 (yes, d drumstick costs $7.30 n butter chicken is $9.30) so I chose option 2: Cashier says she will need sometime to warm up d rest since they r fr d same batch n likely they aren't thoroughly cooked too. Clever (so service is 3/5 passed) but this also tells me, their food prep is not good. It doesn't take too much skill to deep fry a chicken drumstick for a branded stall like Prata Wala mah... so how were d drumsticks done d day b4 n d dayS b4?? Don't they time their cooking? Or check temperature? Even for a novice like me, can aga aga n cook my chicken thoroughly... so it took a good 10+ min to reheat another chicken drumstick n it only reaches me lukewarm, again. Let's not dwell into d price I pay. Since I decide to order it, I shan't look back. Please have better QC on d food items. Serving uncooked or raw chicken is harmful. Unlikely to go west anytime soon. So here's an alert to all.

10/11/2022: Crispy, sweet, savoury. Tried it in Northpoint and the Jurong Point outlet tastes exactly same - GOATED Update 15/11/2022: I went back with my friend, looking forward to having some delicious prata for lunch but the staff were very unprofessional as compared to my first review. Ordered cheese egg prata but somehow they gave me egg onion prata. Furthermore, the counter staff was very rude while I was waiting for her to pass me my receipt. She took a long time to print out the receipt and asked me to take a seat first but when I was walking to my seat, she shouted at me asking to take the receipt but U asked me to go away bruh???

Worst experience ever. Ordered 2 prata sets and 2 drinks. Took them 30 min to serve. There were many pratas already made and stacked but not serving. It’s honestly a scoop and serve situation, but had to wait 30 min - AND it’s only after I check on my order at the counter. So many people were waiting for their orders as well. Staff just taking orders but doesn’t serve. Disappointing. Will not return.

Butter chicken biryani, add egg ($1) and masala chai came up to $15.40 which is very reasonable given the portion. See how small the fork and spoon is in comparison to the plate lol. Sauce is addictive, chicken is tender, egg is delicious. I like everything about this ☺️ The service was also very good and friendly. One small thing is that the place is very cold, so the food gets cold fast. Other than that, everything is awesome. I like that they have a small sink so you can wash your hands and they have napkins as well.

We ordered the butter chicken briyani (pictured; $11.90) and curry chicken briyani ($10.90) and the portion size was so huge that each dish could be shared by 2 persons. The curries were pretty good, though the curry chicken was slightly tough. It was busy on a Sun afternoon but there were still a few seats available. Service was friendly.

This was worst Prata Wala outlet ever. I always went to Prata Wala JP. But now it was different. I've ordered 2 Egg cheese prata and 1 plain prata. Both pratas were different from the previous Prata that I ever had in the past. I was really really disappointing for having such prata. Having said that, the price still remain the same but they Downsized the prata size (As picture attache). Even the Teh Tarik (As picture attached) was served using paper cup instead of normal glass that they served previously. I felt I was being cheated by paying the price with different type of size received. I've asked the manager and the he said the size was like this all a while. This is cheating 😡. I hope the management of Prata Wala will take action against this outlet.

Trying for the 1st time even though I walk past the shop a few hundred times.... decided to give it a shot all because they're running a 1 for 1 curry chicken bryani promo and too hard for me to pass..... dabao back home to enjoy and was impressed with the quality and portion given.... not a big fan of bryani but I must say, is quite tasty!

Freaking slow service ever. Only ordered 2 pcs plain prata but need forever! Just for prata this place is not even worth the queue and waiting for. If there was a waiting time, it should be said during payment. Don’t recommend to patron at this place. I want my money back of $3.60 bc i didnt even take the prata as i was rushing. If i knew there was a waiting time i would NEVER buy, so give me back my money.

Ordered hot milo but it was mixed hot milo with tea leaf and the taste was worst. Attention to the staff on duty, please in future when you mix the hot drink to make more tarik use different cup. I am not a tea person. Please considerate 🙏🏻 Thank you

my first time to prata wala, i ordered a new menu item - wrap salad series butter chicken. there is also wrap briyani series. took quite a long while waiting for it to be ready. i could see the staff figuring out how to wrap it behind the clear glass counter. maybe cause it's a new item, i'll give them the benefit of doubt. i thought it would be subway's wrap's size but it's significantly smaller. butter chicken and its accompanying gravy/sauce is definitely sufficient. taste is on the spot, matches the wrap, not too spicy, not too strong. however, the salad (veggies) is meager. i only remember seeing one piece of lettuce and several countable strips of onion and carrot (i presume carrot? cause something orange). surely lose out to subway and/or stuff'd since the price range is about the same. hope they can improve on that, otherwise this wrap idea is a good menu add on. i also ordered hot teh tarik which is on point 👏🏽. restaurant is set up for fast food setting, i don't remember seeing any high chairs for kids though. their tray return is also all the way inside with minimum shelvings, they were already fully stacked with returns when i put my tray there. i thought it kind of discourages people to return their trays, especially when it gets crazy busy and crowded. on a good note, i spotted a really petite albeit thoughtful/useful hand wash basin at another corner of the restaurant.

Price: $6.30 Masala Thosai: 5/5 Thosai had extremely crispy edges, the potato of the curry was more like a mash, there were carrot, peas and lentils which added a nice crunch. Sambar: 4.5/5 A hearty and moreish sambar containing lentils with some heat from the chillies. Chutney: 4.5/5 Red chutney is flavourful, tangy and tasted tomatoey. White chutney has A LOT of coconut with tiny bits of ginger. Very refreshing. Total score: 14/15

I tried the deepavali special Dahi puri and chilli chicken briyani. I could say this is so far the best briyani I had. Chilli sauce is not too overpowering, and the curry goes well together with it. Pair it with a crispy pappadum, and acar, the taste is heavenly. I would also like to say thank you to the friendly staff, Naveed, for the service and recommendation of Mango Lassi. It helps to lower the heat from the food and is very delicious too. First time trying out Dahi puri, quite an interesting taste experience for me. Sweet, salty, and a mixture of spicy makes it a well snack for anytime.

Staffs are very rude. Talk to customers with unwilling face. Foods are expensive too. This 2 items paid $6.40. If the staffs are warming, it’s feel still ok. If your items are expensive, you should have good services right? 🙄

The butter chicken prata set had prata that seemed stale, obviously the dough was not given enough time to set. Butter chicken used tandoori chicken to cook butter chicken. NTUC frozen prata would have taste better than this. The fish curry is nice.

My go to prata place for dinner. I love their crispy egg prata and nasi briyani curry chicken. Their ice milo and iced tea are excellent too. The staffs and manager here are friendly and proactive in their customer service. Would recommend coming here 👍🏼

Nicest prata in Jurong Point. I like the egg prata best. I like the fish curry is very fragrant and flavourful. The briyani is outstanding. Tried the Teh Tarik, very smooth and have the right tea milk combination I like.
