Great food and ambiance. Only hard to find is parking. Which is understandable due to its location. Ordered a steak on medium rare, really one of the restaurant that really cooked medium rare to perfection. Price wise, not bad at all. The taxes though... just gotta take note.

We ordered Nasi Goreng Kerabu Ayam Percik ($13), NLB Ayam Berempah ($8), Chop Chop Chicken Chop ($15), Latte ($6) and Earl Grey ($6). Ice water was charged 50 cents. Food was good but for the price, we had expected better. Between the Ayam Berempah and and Ayam Perick, we preferred the Ayam Berempah, because it was both better tasting and cheaper. Overall, good ordinary food but price is not wallet friendly.

A really nice fusion cafe blending Malay and some Italian influences. The shimeiji mushrooms with salted egg was really good. The lassa is also really nice, the smoked duck adds a lovely flavour to dish. They used linguini instead of noodles which was interesting. The chicken leg nasi lemsk was fantastic. Perfectly cooked. The rice was on point too. The chilli sauce they use is very good.

Great food if you like more fusion indonesian food. The nasi goreng ayam percik is not bad.. the rice has fresh ingredients of the lalap and tauge. The sauce quite nice also. Their starters and side dishes is a must have. Nice wor the perkedel tahu. Crispy and soft 😱 The martabak is must try. Not super sweet and price is alright too.

I visit monthly for my shimeji shroom fix. They have the best nasi lemak - flavourful basmati rice roasted with banana leaf. Not oily or too rich. The rice separation is perfect. The nasi kerabu is spiced to perfection too. Ambience is nice and cozy. Warm service from the staff. Price slightly on the high side but worth it. Parking may be difficult during rush hours.

Nice fusion of Western with Malay dishes. Availability of desserts too. Had the shellout which was fun to eat with family.

chanced upon this cosy joint while escaping from the crowd during Ramadan. couldn't resist the nasi lemak bakar and nasi kerabu ayam percik while browsing the menu and decided to go for the latter, as not many places sell it here. it was a good attempt, although it was not quite what I was expecting. but I was pleasantly surprised to find the minced meat bagedil (i forgot the actual name on the menu), which reminded me of the baseball soto at the tjg pagar railway station canteen. perfect 10 for nostalgia! thank you!

I have been a fan of walaku ever since they've open, and I've tried their most of their menu selection multiple times years ago. But when I came this year, I got very disappointed on how the food tasted. They charge $30+ for this seafood with minimum of 2 pax and its not worth it. The crab has no meat literally, the gong gong was old that the meat cannot get out, the shrimps is meh and the hot and sweet sauce is not tasty and the veggie served was like left over from another day as it tasted bland and old. I dont know if i ordered the wrong item this time but definitely not the same as before as even my favorite pisang goreng tasted like something is missing.
