First time trying the waffle here and ordered a cream cheese filling. Great pairing as the waffle is sweet while the cream cheese is more to salty. Enjoyed it as tea break with a cup of hot Kopi-O kosong I got from opposite Kopitiam. Saw poor reviews on the service there, no comment yet as I didn’t encounter it. Will revisit again for waffle when I have cravings for it 🥞

terribly rude service. cashier passing snide remarks about the customer “having high level of difficulty” picking up the bread when customer was just contemplating. very unwarranted and uncalled for. and it was early in the day when few customers were around, so really don’t see what’s the problem. i think people in the estate wouldn’t buy from this shop if there were other options around. also often hear raised voices in the bakery which sounds like disputes with customers.

Went there at 8.50pm, checking if we can still buy waffle. The staff was rude and raise her voice "Do you see still have?". Always bought waffle from this shop will not go back anymore.

Horrible staff. I used to buy waffle from the store every morning around 8am plus. But recently the morning shift auntie always said not ready when everything was set up. The auntie very rude, she forget my order and I was earring my earpiece this morning. She called me through the waffle corner and expect me to hear it when there’s a high wall. She said I called you so many time. You cannot hear is it. Even though this is the only bread store in Buangkok, I will not patrol again from today onwards.

Cashier staff with bad attitude. One time there was a short change when I asked, she was nonchalantly return the shortchange without checking or asking the value. This shows the staff was intentionally shortchange the customer! Another occasion, the staff refused to pack a new pack of cny cookie and asked to take the only one that was mostly with crumbs, she said she was busy and take it or leave it. Very arrogant attitude.

Bought doughnut from Bake Inc at Blk 275D Compassvale Link on 23/06 Friday afternoon found dead adult lizard inside the doughnut. Fortunately did not bite directly onto it otherwise would have eaten it.

Located near Buangkok MRT Station. I used to frequent visit to buy bread. Also brought cakes for my two kids birthday celebrations in the childcare before. Nowadays dont go anymore. As the prices not only increase, the quality also drop. The bad attitude of the staffs also put me to totally strike off this shop from my list.

This place really nailed the singapore style customer service. Staff couldn't care less, literally refuse to talk to you down to pointing at the cash register's display in silence to tell you the total amount. Takes some commitment to treat your customers this cold.

Bought 4 waffles and paid 8.80, went home and realised she give me one plain instead of the flavour we pay for so we went back next day and told the same cashier who did the waffles for us. She ended up denying and scolding us and blaming us for saying the orders wrong. But the thing is we buy waffles there every other day and each time is same 4 flavours. We have never order plain ones and we always pay the exact amount 8.80 for every flavoured waffle charging at 2.20 each. So there's no way we said the order wrong. Now we learnt our lesson and will check on every order with our receipt before heading home.

Incident happened some years ago (pre-Covid) but reading the comments, it seems that the same issue still persists. Hadn’t made a purchase at the bakery since a terrible experience. It was night time and the store was still open but the waffle station seemed inactive. I normally would’ve just walked away but this time I decided to just ask an innocent question since “there’s no harm asking”. Yeah, there was definitely some harm asking. I asked the lady at the cashier (wears glasses and speaks with an accent) if they’re closed. She did all but spit at me. Her tone was extremely rude. She turned around to her colleague and repeated my question “关了没有?” (Are you closed?). Her colleague laughed along with her. “Can’t she see? She’s asking if we’re closed!!” She repeated this a few times, laughing loudly and never addressing me directly once. Just continued with her snide comments to her colleague who indirectly encouraged her to go on by laughing along. I understand that this is a neighbourhood bakery and not a Michelin star restaurant, but call me crazy for expecting basic courtesy and respect as another human being. I’ve frankly never experienced service like this before (and since) in my life and thinking back, yeah, I am still salty. I get that the employees might’ve been tired or maybe had to deal with difficult customers all day. Or maybe this is a question they get often and they’re annoyed. Hey, insult your customers all you want for asking “stupid questions”, but maybe do it behind our backs? All I did was ask if the waffle station was closed. A simple ‘yes’ would’ve sufficed, thank you very much. I told my mother afterwards and she was also enraged and hadn’t bought anything there since. I know posting a review here after so long is not going to change anything and the owners might not even see it. Or care, tbh. But I couldn’t find this review avenue back when it happened (I believe Google reviews for this store wasn’t set up at the time). It’s really a huge pity that the experience have tainted my impression of the store. I really did enjoy the breads there. But you know how just waking up wrong can ruin your entire morning or day? This indignity I felt definitely left a bad taste in my mouth about this store no number of waffles can get rid of. All I did wrong here was to want to pay you.

Bought 2 plain waffles, cashier was good and payment was smooth. Waiting time was alright, had a few ppl who ordered ahead but roughly under 10 minutes to receive my food. The waffles were thick, tasted good but sucks that the price has increased. 🫥 I think I was lucky with the services since most users have had bad services here, but I would ask of people to come and try the pastries and judge it themselves.

The shop assistants at this branch are extremely rude and fierce. A simple enquiry about the bread, the assistant back facing us barking at us not free and ask the old folks to go away. It was like so angry with us buying. Is this the way to treat the customers especially old folks?

26th Sept 2023. Was at Buangkok Mrt outlet at about 12:30pm, I had a very bad experience today, I was overlook about the pricing and with a harsh statement, the rude and arrogant cashier told me not to argue with the price. Please bake inc, you have more bad reviews then good. Trained your staff to be more polite and do good services to your customers. For now, prefer to go to Swee Heng Bakery, located at Sengkang Grand Mall.

Not recommeded, the aunty cashier was super rude and had a bad attitude. Not showing any courtesy at all. Saw all the reviews and there are many disappointed buyers. Please bake inc, do something on your customer service.

Purchased bread during the evening so store was a bit crowded since everyone’s coming back from work. Opted to pay using PayNow. Scanned the QR code and stepped aside for the Chinese aunty cashier to serve the next customer. Made payment, showed it to the cashier. She took a glance at my phone and continued with the other customer’s order. I started to exit the store and the aunty shouted “HEY YOU NEED TO PAY”. ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I paid and showed you my phone. Why did you think I showed you my phone if it wasn’t to show you the successful transaction? Why did you glance over at my phone if you weren’t expecting me to show you the proof? What was I, trying to show you a funny video? Yeah, I’m such a criminal mastermind. I came into your store, chose some bread, brought it to the counter, had you pack it, declined a carrier and decided…I’m going to steal. Side note, Malay aunty is always very friendly.
