The Sop Bontot (Oxtail Soup) tasteless and not properly heated up. Terrible! 2nd time trying still the same. The oxtails should be boil together with the soup, not just simply put e cold cut oxtails in the bowl and pour the un-boiled soup in. Turn up to be a warm oxtail soup with a pathetic dilute chili soya sauce. Staff should be trained on F&B customer service training, especially the fat Indonesian lady. Everybody they not friendly at all. Penyet King used to be a nice food served, especially e ayam penyet sambal. Boss of Penyet King, please look into this, you been paying high rent and ungrateful staff salaries.. Yours faithfully, Disappointed diner's

Chicken got weird smell and dry, think it's overnight chicken and fried numerous time. Fried toufu is not fresh. Agree with other reviewer, staff is rude. Won't recommend.

the ayam bakar and chilli are nice, but the staff are not that friendly. the staff will talk to you like you owe them a million dollars. they also don't give the chicken soup for takeaways. sometimes they will give the soup for takeaway only if you ask them. sometimes they will say no soup, but they will give soup for those dining in.

The Penyet King offers a delicious and authentic Ayam Penyet experience. The crispy fried chicken is tender on the inside, accompanied by flavorful sambal and traditional Indonesian side dishes. The restaurant's focus on quality ingredients and generous portions makes it a popular choice for those craving flavorful Indonesian cuisine.

Without doubt the worst Ayam Penyet I ever had!! The chicken was meatless, skinny and dried to the bone. First time I have ever been made to pay for Chilli to my dish. Absolute disaster. Poor quality food, dreadful customer service. Woman’s face is always so black.
