I told the lady would like more sambal sauce in my nasi lemak to take away. She even said she gave alot. When I reach home, there was no sambal sauce at all! Spoiled the whole meal experience! What a rude shock. The lady lied to me. The boss refunded me after asking the details. Humane service recovery. But the bad experience with this franchise/branch still lingers. I recommend ppl to open up their packets to verify their orders before leaving the premises. Else they might reach home feeling terrible at the ridiculous sight I have experienced. I mean who eats nasi lemak without sambal sauce? It just screams dry. Their eggs are also all fried till they are overly cooked(I am not sure if it is to prevent food poisoning) but I am sure many ppl like their eggyolks a little orange at least.

Auntie energy here is BIG!!!! That’s what I’m here for. I work around the area and I’m not lying, I get lunch here at least once a week. The nasi lemak rice is fragrant and pillowy, a perfect partnership to take your protein to the next level of flavor town. The sambal is dark, smoky and on the sweet side. It still carries a nice kick that enhances that spoon vessel of delicious morsels to your mouth to give you bliss! Ok that further confirms that yeah I might have an addictive personality. The beef rendang is tender packed with flavor and spices. I don’t know the name of this particular dish but is a chicken bathing on this yellow broth/sauce/curry that is a delight when pour on top of the rice it just sends it baby. The bergedil is a must for me, soft potato dough inside while the outside remains crunchy is just the chef’s kiss. Ikan bilis here tops it off, the crunchy peanuts giving you that texture composition after the soft pillowy rice, the little fishies packed with umami just sending your tastebuds to the moon. I don’t believe in reincarnation, but if I did, I’m sure I was born Malay in my previous life. Love love this type of food. But is all thanks to the beautiful people behind the scenes, the aunties who are working back there cooking delicious food everyday from morning to night to feed us this wonderful meal, they do it with love. Bless them and Happy Ramadan my Habibis!

If u want economical price, go for the nasi lemak sets, lontong, mee rebus, mee goreng etc. They are reasonably priced. I paid $7.80 for white rice with beef rendang, fish fillet and brinjal. Good portion of dishes given. Served by Tanty today.

It's hard to give a good review when the price is 4.50 for a plate of nasi lemak. It is a good nasi lemak no doubt. Rice is fragrant. Chicken was tasty. Sambal was good and sweet. Spicy sure. Extra 30 cents for take away. Been eating from this stall for months now. Taste hasn't change

Came here at 1130am. Was first on queue. But took awhile for servers to notice me as they were busy chatting and cashier’s eyes were glued on her phone. Realised that prices have increased since my last visit which was at least 1 year ago. I have no issue with that as I understand that salary and food costs have increased substantially. But I was very disappointed with the quality. Could not eat the beef rendang as it’s tough and dry. It seems like meat is of bad cut. Rice were clumpy as well. That is the amount of food that I have thrown away (pls refer to photo). Tastes of the food have changed as well. Reckon that it must be a different cook. This store used to be filled with customers. Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case anymore. Hope the owner will bring back the good old times of tasty and quality food.

My $14 nasi lemak. Nasi Lemak is $5 but i paid $9 for paru (beef lung) - an off cut and that small piece of chicken (lemak cili padi). Guys, this place has no sitting area and its a take out. Nasi Lemak was good but the additional $9 is disappointing, as the portion is bad. I could have used the $9 for a jollibee 3 pc chicken meal instead of a small chicken and beef lungs. Go for the nasi lemak but avoid the add ons.

Food is nice especially their nasi lemak sets. The rice is fragrant and chicken wing is crispy but their chili is very oily. Their service is super slow with or without queue. Bad timing to takeaway during lunch time and off work hours.

Be warned, go early or stand in queue. The nasi lemak is fragrant, the chilli is sweet & spicy at a go. For ease of eating without dirtying hands, the filet or otah versions are the best. For $5 a packet, its a power pack meal. The ladies are very warm, they don’t rush you to order even when there’s a queue. Recommended for no fuss, no idea but need a quick eat.

Looking forward to eat the nasi lemak today which costs $8.50. But to find that the cuttlefish is so hard that I couldn’t bite them. My friend who bought this dish too also facing the same problem. These are wasted and easily cost us at least $3/$4 for this dish. What a disappointment!

Chilli taste too shrimpy , and otah was overly fishy… rice was above average but the overall experience was just bad. Always wanted to try this nasi lemak cos of its highly raved about reviews but it was nothing comparable to the other famous ones like changi V , punggol nasi lemak etc.
