A rather popular cafe as I had to queue even though I was there at 11+ before the lunch peak hour. You might want to stagger your visit to an off-peak timing instead to avoid the wait since no reservations are allowed. Due to the hot weather, I wanted something light and refreshing. However, the honey mint tea was a bit on the sweet side for me and I could hardly taste the mint flavour nor see any mint leaves in the drink. Might be good to choose this if you have a sweet tooth though. The paprika sweet potato fries were great in terms of taste and texture i.e. not overcooked (some versions elsewhere turn out really dark and hard) and the paprika powder also accentuated the sweetness of the fries. Portion size is rather big so it's good for sharing. The seafood marinara was pretty decent too. My only grouses were the mussels which didn't taste that fresh and the small portion - not too satisfying for a big eater like me. Considering the price, I was expecting a more substantial portion size. In all, it was a pleasant dining experience but you may need to order more food or desserts to have a filling meal.

It was pretty crowded as what would be expected on a weekend lunch :) we ordered it via QR code and the food was served pretty fast! The mains is bland in my opinion which is quite sad because it looks very nice. But the truffle fries is not bad and I think my favourite here would be the waffle! Might come here to chill as it is cosy but will try just their dessert.

Polite staff, who is very transparent and make sure to keep us in the loop despite the long line Food is yummy! I really liked everything, except maybe the sausage that is a little too Herby for my taste. The coffee was great! The staff recommended the Brazil bean and I liked it. :) Dining limit is 90mins Tbh it can be a little pricey, but the food and ambience is great! Using the thub passion card gives you additional 10% if you order at the counter :)

First visit. Took us a while to locate the cafe. It is behind the bus stop, right at the corner of the stadium near the big traffic junction. Google map helps. Food was average. The beef patty for the burger was dry and tough - couldn't finish it. Fries was good though. Egg mayo croissant was not bad. Service by the lady with a bun was unfriendly. There is a step (with hazard tape marking) to the tables from the counter that can be easily missed. An elderly man fell with a thud! The customers nearby rushed to help. But none of the service staff appeared to be bothered by that. I was surprised. He looked ok, thank God.

In a little corner with glass windows, the minimalist cafe looks clean and inviting. I was won over by its chic interior with white tiles and finishes, accompanied by gorgeous grey and gold coffee machines. I'm not a coffee person but I was enticed by the huge croissants displayed. Eventually, I ordered mains as I was hungry. The food was presented very beautifully with its good sized seafood for my seafood aglio olio. But the chocolate banana cake took the stage. That one u got to try. I was there on a Tuesday night and the place wasn't crowded - my friend told me its normally crowded, i guess i was lucky. Had the chance to catch up with a friend I haven't met in a year. The staff gives u the space and privacy, yet very very attentive to our orders and requests. Awesome staff, Dutch colony is lucky to have them.

Small cafe at the corner of hub. Needed to wait quite abit for seats for 3. Wanted to sit at the bench outside which was part of tampines hub and not theirs so was suggested to do a takeaway instead. Croissant has a generous serving of eggs. Their coffee is more to the acidic kind more than nutty!

Nice cosy place and I do like the big glass panes. Can be really noisy inside if there's a lot of people. Food is on the light and bland side but decent portion and so nicely presented. Also the filter coffees are unique and should try them.

Stopped in here for a quick coffee and dessert. You order and pay via a QR code. The flat white was okay, but was a tad expensive for what you get. I wanted the ondeh ondeh cake or the double baked cheese cake, which we had before at the Frankel store, but the missus had a hankering for the carrot cake. It was nice, creamy and full of fresh chopped hazelnuts.

Not too bad, just a pity the Angus beef burger sold out by the time I reached. Drinks were okay food was quite nice. Paid about $55.

I’ve been to this outlet many times, but today was a little disappointing. We were a party of 4 and placed our orders separately. One of the staff (Chinese girl) informed my friend that her order was not submitted as she hadn’t made payment which was nice of her to notice. But after that, only 3 mains came and my drink was still missing. We thought it was because my friend had submitted her order later but only after asking it turns out that it was my order that wasn’t captured even though payment was made! It would have helped if the staff’s attentiveness was consistent. I felt so bad for my friend as she had to wait close to 45 mins to finally eat! The same staff was apologetic and while we appreciated it and understood that it was the system error, there truly was no service recovery at all. It’s a shame as we enjoyed the food.

Great place nearby to get scrambled eggs. My long black was bitter as hawl. I should have gotten the latte instead. The English breakfast style platter is actually one of the best I've tried in Tampines and other areas, even the more astute parts of town. I'm a westerner and sometimes get tired of eating soft boiled runny eggs, so the scambled eggs fit a nice niche for my sensibilities. The Tampines location is tiny to dine-in. I could see a scenario of not being able to get a table during peak time quite easily, so plan accordingly. I wished they served Kopi C Kassong, but of course, it's Singapore, so not very hard to find nearby.

I am a regular here and decided to check on dutch colony’s review as I want to see if others felt the way I do. Sadly to see , the ones who gave bad reviews are those who clearly do not understand the workload that the staff received during peak hours. When I sat at my table, watching how crowded the crowd was, the staff did their best to achieve a good service for all. It left me wondering if the management check on their well being when they get scolded and complained just as much when they did a good job. although on a bad side, the place here is too tiny to cater to everyone especially during peak hours. Good job to everyone as they make me feel welcomed and I would as much recommend others to try their coffees and food.

great ambience and delicious food but also pricey (average cafe prices but still expensive) the cafe itself is a bit small and can be cramped if ur more than 2 people visiting, but there's a bit of outdoor seating. the desserts were genuinely so good! the bottled drinks not worth getting tho - too sweet.

Loved their cappuccino and americano; would love to try other kinds of coffee here. Ambience was pretty chill and nice for chatting with friends and family.

Amenities/Space: - self-refill water, straws, service yes available. - waiting bench inside available if no avail seats! - looks like a small cafe, but comfortable spacing all around! Cozy & comfortable spot to chill. - was still able to grab good seatings on a weekend morn! - Paper Straw gets soggy quickly.. so drink fast Food: - Pretty generous portions of food! Especially on croissants / toasts / soups - Strongly packed with flavour! eg. REALLY taste the thickness / gao-ness of matcha in the tart, the truffle in the egg croissant, the houjicha in the drink. - food served pretty quick! Upon ordering. - comprehensive menu, lots of choices for all tastes Easy ordering: QR CODE scanning & online payment as usual. People seem to come in pretty often for takeaways

Pretty decent place in the east for brunch. Also got the iced long black which was good in an acidic way. French toast was delightful though slightly pricy for the portion size.

The environment is nice and relaxing. Even though it's crowded, there's no long wait. The food tastes moderate, is affordably priced, and the portions are reasonable. High recommended Cake nice , It's a good choice in the Tampines area.

Didn’t have the best first impression because the service staff seemed upset at me for choosing to order at the counter instead of scanning the QR code on the table. On top of that, the atmosphere of this cafe was slightly disappointing, and the food & drink offerings were okay at best. The kitchen, fruit juicer, coffee machine, and where you’ll sit are all situated in a pretty small (glass-walled, low-ceiling) space, so expect lots of reverberations and echoing. Lots of natural light was a plus though :) My order of an iced cappuccino, easy tonic (espresso + yuzu + strawberry + tonic water), salted caramel cake & raspberry chocolate cake, came up to just over $30 (~$8 per item). Coffee was just okay— I want to believe the hot coffee would be better. I preferred the easy tonic to the iced capp. Cakes were a little better. Salted caramel wasn’t salty enough in my opinion, but the raspberry chocolate was rich & not too sweet! Wouldn’t make a trip here unless I were in the vicinity and really needed coffee or somewhere to sit. Perhaps their savoury options would have been more memorable!

Cosy space at tampines hub! It's my first visit to this outlet. Food and coffee that never disappoint. Had a latte with their breakfast platter. The portion is very huge. For 2 pax to share! Had their Cheesecake too! Satisfying!

A chill cafe to go to have coffee and a good read. The Truffle Egg Mayo Croissant lived up to its expectations. The croissant was flaky, fluffy and sufficiently buttery that it was just as good on its own. I like that the eggs werent too finely chopped so that I could still taste the egg and the truffle was distinct but not overly cloyying. Serving the egg mayo chilled made it even more delicious. Opting for the Ethopia blend, my cup of latte was medium-bodied and smooth. Wished that they had allowed for more customisation on its menu.
